Welcome to the July 2022 edition of my Simon Says Stamp monthly series, Making the Cut! This series featuring all things die cutting. This month I am sharing a set of 8 cards and envelopes using the new Orange Blossoms Stencil/Die and Flowers For You Stamps/Dies. Mass producing cards that can be used for multiple occasions is my favorite thing right now. I love creating a bunch of cards while I have all the supplies out and available!

For the backgrounds of my cards, I stenciled the Simon Says Samp Grid Stencil on 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panels with Tim Holtz Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink and then spritzed the backgrounds with Tim Holtz Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Spray for my current favorite tone-on-tone distress backgrounds!
The Simon Says Stamp Orange Blossoms Stencils and Die Set were die cut and stenciled or stenciled and die cut (see video for more information) and stenciled with the following Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks and the Round Detail Blending Brushes:
- Oranges Color Combo 1: Melon, Cantaloupe, Sherbet
- Oranges Color Combo 2: Peachy, Grapefruit, Mandarin
- Leaves: Celery, Limelicious, Pearfection
- Flowers: Lemonade, Citrine
The tags from the Simon Says Stamp Flowers For You Stamps and Dies were die cut from smooth white cardstock and stamped with a variety of greetings from the stamp set using black ink.
The die cuts were assembled and adhered to the distressed card fronts as shown using foam adhesive squares.
Some Pretty Pink Posh Creamsicle Pearls, Crystal Lacquer (flower center), and Hint of Mint Hearts were added to the cards to finish the designs.
Envelopes were stenciled with the Simon Says Stamp Orange Blossoms Stencils to match the cards!
