Sentiments from the Colorado Craft Company Anita Jeram Amazing Mom Stamp Set were stamped on the front with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and Hero Hues Reactive Ink in Pool Party. An additional sentiment from the set was stamped inside the card.

Heart embellishments were added to the card front to complete the design.

Simon Says Stamp Hello Beautiful Release Blog Hop Day 1 + GIVEAWAY

A Sunny Studio Striped Silly Paper was trimmed to 2 7/8" x 6" and adhered to a white mini slimline card base.

The Simon Says Stamp Bitty Birdhouse Wafer Die was die cut from Lawn Fawn yellow Pastel Textured Dot Cardstock and teal and green Tropical Textured Dot Cardstock, Sunny Studio Striped Silly Paper and and assortment of cardstock. The birdhouses were assembled and adhered to the background as shown. A heart accent was added to each.

The Simon Says Stamp Welcome Wafer Die was die cut three times from Lawn Fawn Fog Cardstock, adhered one on top of another, and adhered to the mini slimline card base.

For the first card, additional sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Welcoming Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Smoke Ink, die cut with Nested Banners Dies, and adhered to the card with foam adhesive. A trio of red heart accents were added to the design for a pop of color.

For the second card, the stamped sentiments were stamped on Simon Says Stamp Smoke Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder before being die cut with the coordinating Simon Says Stamp Welcoming Dies and Nested Banners Dies.

For the third card, the background was trimmed from Lawn Fawn Watercolor patterned paper.

The bird houses were die cut from Lawn Fawn Brights Textured Dot Cardstock (dark blue) and Pastel Textured Dot Cardstock (green and light blue).

A stamped sentiments were stamped on Simon Says Stamp Smoke Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder before being die cut with the coordinating Simon Says Stamp Welcoming Die. The remaining sentiment was stamped on the card background with Simon Says Stamp Island Blue Ink.

Greetings from the Simon Says Stamp Baby Gender Reveal Stamp Set and Simon Says Stamp Welcoming Stamp Set were stamped on Simon Says Stamp Slate Cardstock with clear embossing ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder and adhered to the card with foam adhesive.

Each card was finished with a trio of white hearts and Glossy Accents on the stroller heart.

A Honey Bee Stamps Autumn Afternoon patterned paper was trimmed to 2 7/8" x 6" and adhered to a white mini slimline card base.

The Simon Says Stamp Carrot Wafer Die was die cut from an assortment of Lawn Fawn Textured Dots Cardstocks and patterned papers.

The Simon Says Stamp Picture Book Bunny Wafer Die was die cut from smooth white cardstock and Lawn Fawn Fog Cardstock. The bunny and carrots were adhered to the card base as shown.

The Simon Says Stamp Welcome Wafer Die was die cut three times from Lawn Fawn Sunflower Cardstock, adhered one on top of another, and adhered to the card base.

"Easter" from the Simon Says Stamp Bunny Kisses Wafer Die was die cut three times from Lawn Fawn Cilantro Cardstock, adhered one on top of another, and adhered to the card base.

Y'all know how much I love Truckin' Through the Seasons, right? I mean, this month alone, I've featured this set with new add ons for THESE Christmas cards and THIS wedding card. If you're interested in seeing ALL the cards I've made over the last couple years with and add ons, scroll to the bottom of this post.

Both cards feature a FSJ Tin Pail Cardstock background, foiled with a Spellbinders Essential Glimmer Rectangles glimmer plate and a foiled sentiment from the April 2020 Glimmer of the Month Club, Celebrate the Day using Silver Foil. I've also embossed each background with the FSJ Love Stripes embossing folder. The glimmer frames and an embossing folder are my go-to's for creating interesting backgrounds that draw your eye in to the sweet truck!

Mama Elephant | Sky Bursters Book Buddy Baby Card

Hello friends! I love finding new ways to use the Mama Elephant Book Buddy die cut critters to cards. These dies were made to be used to create bookmarks but I love using them in card designs. Visit THIS post for a kitty birthday card or THIS post for a kitty rainbow card. Today I combined the Sky Bursters Frame with the adorable bear Book Buddy for a sweet baby card.

The Sky Bursters Frame was die cut from smooth white cardstock, keeping the oval and frame together with post it tape. The edges of the frame were masked off with post it tape as well. The background was inked with Broken China and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks. Water from a Distress Sprayer was spritzed over the background and blotted dry with a paper towel. Once completely dry a sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Faith Stamp Set was stamped along the bottom edge with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

The Sky Bursters Frame hanging stars and moon were die cut from smooth white cardstock, Hero Hues Canary Cardstock, and Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust Cardstock. The glittery stars and yellow moon were layered over the white die cut piece. Foam Adhesive was adhered to the back of the hanging stars.

The bear Book Buddy was die cut from Hero Hues Chestnut Cardstock, Hero Hues Peony Cardstock, Hero Hues Pitch Black Cardstock, and Lawn Fawn Paper Bag Cardstock. The bear's body was adhered to appear to "hang" over the stars and moon. Shading was added to the face and body with Copic Markers. Glossy Accents was adherex to the eyes and nose. Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard were applied to the moon.

Additional stars were die cut from Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust Cardstock and scattered throughout the design. Pretty Pink Posh Mini Silver Star Confetti were layered over some of the cardstock stars and throughout the background to finish the design.

Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight | Wish Upon A Star

Happy Wednesday! Today I'm sharing a soft and sweet scene card with the Mama Elephant Wish Upon A Star stamp set. The Cloudy Day Cover is the perfect background for these cuties!

The background was created with the Cloudy Day Cover. The edges from the stitching line to the border were masked off with post it tape and the center of the panel was inked with Lawn Fawn Moonstone and Forget-Me-Not inks using the Life Changing blending brushes.

A sentiment from the Wish Upon A Star Stamp Set was stamped along the bottom edge of the design with Forget-Me-Not ink. Solid star images from the set were stamped with both Forget-Me-Not and Moonstone inks for a tone-on-tone look.

Images from the Wish Upon A Star Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Intense Black Ink and colored in with Copic Markers. The cut images were adhered to the background with either liquid or foam adhesive.

Glossy Accents was applied to the moon and yellow colored stars and Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard were added to the edges of the clouds and the wings to finish the design.

Spellbinders Blog Hop featuring Becca Feeken & Debi Adams + GIVEAWAY

Welcome to the May Spellbinders Blog Hop featuring the new Becca Feeken and Debi Adams releases!

Today I'm using new sets from the Debi Adams Perfect Match release for this trio of fun, whimsical cards! The stamps and dies from these sets work together seamlessly to create the most adorable designs!

I'll be showing ideas on using the New Arrival Stamp and Die Set, Flour Power Stamp and Die Set, and Getting All Mushy Stamp and Die Set for my card shares. A Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Oval Die is the perfect background for these cute designs!

All three cards feature a Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Oval Die cut from a smooth white background and inked with Broken China Distress Oxide Distress ink before being spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer and allowed to air dry.

The Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Oval Die background was stamped with a greeting from the New Arrival Stamp and Die Set using an embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The frame and oval were adhered to a white side fold card base as shown.

The stork and baby from the set was stamped on smooth white cardstock with Jet Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating die. The image was secured to the card base with foam adheisve.

Clouds from the set were die cut from smooth white cardstock and adhered with foam adhesive. The stars were die cut from Lawn Fawn Sticky Note and Sunflower cardstock, inked with Wild Honey Distress Ink and adhered to the design as shown.

The stars were finished with a layer of White Blizzard Nuvo Crystal Drops and additional iridescent star confetti was added to the design to finish the card.

Stork: W00, W1, W5, R00, YR01, YR04, C5, C8
Bag: R000, R11, R22
Baby: E00, E11

In addition to the Broken China Distress Oxide Inked background, a bit of Twisted Citron was used for this second card design. The greeting was stamped and embossed just like the card above.

Images from the Getting All Mushy Stamp and Die Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock, colored in with Copic Markers, die cut with the coordinating dies, and adhered to the design as shown.

Grass was die cut from Lawn Fawn Cilantro Cardstock and inked with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink before being adhered among the cute mushrooms. The heart was finished with a layer of White Blizzard Nuvo Crystal Drops and a scattering of Honey Bee Stamps Be Mine Candy Hearts accents.

Red Topped Mushroom: R27, R46, YR31, YR23, YR27, E43, E44
Yellow Spotted Mushroom: YR31, YR23, YR27, YG91, YG95, E43, E44
Tall, Skinny Mushroom: YR31, YR23, YR27, E43, E44
Heart: R27, R46

For my last card share today, the greeting was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink (I thought the white embossing powder might get lost in the background so I opted for a darker sentiment).

The flour canister image from the Flour Power Stamp and Die Set was stamped on smooth white cardstock, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating die.

The rolling pin was die cut from Paper Bag Cardstock, the top of the pie from Vanilla Malt Cardstock, the pie pan from Peacock Cardstock, and the hearts from Chili Pepper cardstock. The rolling pin and top of the pie were lightly inked with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink and faces from the stamp set were added to both. The images were adhered to the card as shown.

The hearts were finished with a layer of White Blizzard Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Lawn Fawn | Baby Balloons Cards (featuring all die cutting)

Hello! Creating cards with all die cuts is one of my favorite techniques. I challenged myself to create some balloon-themed baby cards with all Lawn Fawn die cuts. As awesome as these are for baby cards, this same design could be used with different greeting borders and colors for so many different occasions!

The background for each card was die cut from vellum using the Stitched Cloud Portrait Die. A frame was die cut from white glitter cardstock using a Stitched Rectangle Frame Die. The frame die was layered and adhered over the vellum background using 1/8" Scor Tape.

The Party Balloons were die cut from a combination of Lawn Fawn and Simon Says Stamp Cardstocks, pinks for the baby girl card and blues for the baby boy card.

The It's A Boy Border and It's A Girl Border were die cut from white glitter cardstock and used for one of the balloon "strings" on each card.

The balloons were trimmed and adhered to fit within the frame border. Thin gold metallic thread was tied around the larger balloons on each card and secured with a dab of liquid glue to keep the bow in place.

Each card was finished with Honey Bee Stamps Candy Hearts and Pretty Pink Posh Iridescent Star Confetti.

Greetings were stamped on the inside of each card from the Little Bundle Stamp Set using Ballet Slippers and Mermaid inks.

Mama Elephant Designer Series | Tote Bag 3D + Monkey Favor Bag Add On (Baby Gift Bags)

Hello! Nichol here today with these three baby gift tote bags featuring the new Tote Bag 3D dies and Monkey Favor Bag Add On dies! These Favor Bags are the perfect size for adding small gifts and gift cards too and are super adorable dressed up with the Monkey Favor Bag Add Ons. I made these into new baby gift bags but by switching up the sentiment you can easily switch that out for birthdays or other occasions.

The Tote Bags were die cut from Lawn Fawn Gotta Have Gingham plaid patterned paper. I used the 12x12 papers from the collection as the tote bag requires a bigger piece of paper than 6x6. Each bag consists of two die cut panels. I like to keep the bag flat until I've added everything to the bag as it's easier to adhere elements before it's assembled. The tag dies included in the Tote Bag 3D collection were die cut from coordinating cardstock colors in Lawn Fawn Sticky Note and Moonstone and Simon Says Stamp Lavender to match the bags.

The Monkey Favor Bag Add On was die cut from Lawn Fawn Vanilla Malt and Paper Bag cardstock with a bit of Chocolate Bar for the noses and Black Licorice for the eyes. Gathered Twigs Distress Ink was used to add depth and dimension to the brown parts of the monkey, Antique Linen to the face and some Spun Sugar Distress Ink for the monkey's cheeks. A sponge dauber makes adding the pink for the cheeks more precise. Bows from the Snow Deer Favor Bag Add On were die cut from coordinating cardstock color to match the bags. The girls get hair bows and the boy gets a bow tie!

The monkeys were adhered to the front panel of each Tote Bag and embellished with Glossy Accents on the eyes and noses and white pen detail throughout. Each Tote Bag was assembled once the Glossy Accents was dry.

The tags were stamped with sentiments from Just Hatched using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Honey Bee Stamps Be Mine Candy Hearts accents finish each tag and the center of the hair bows and bow tie.

Ribbon was tied to the top of each bag and each tag was attached with thin string to finish the design.

Simon Says Stamp | Best Days Blog Hop Day 2 + GIVEAWAY

Welcome to Day 2 of the Best Days Blog Hop!

I'm so excited to be hopping along with Simon Says Stamp today as we celebrate the latest release, Best Days! This release is full of amazing new stamps, dies, stencils, and more! I compiled lots and lots of new (seven new products!!!!) to create this trio of baby cards! Each card features the same basic design, I just switched up the focal point images and/or greetings. Imagine switching out the baby themed sentiments and images for birthday or other occasions as well! I love versatile designs!

The Reverse Polka Background was used to create custom patterned paper backgrounds with Cotton Candy, Sea Glass, and Fog inks.

The Picture Book Sky Background was die cut from Fog Cardstock, Sea Glass Cardstock, and Cotton Candy inked cardstock and layered on the corresponding polka dot background. The die was also die cut from vellum and smooth white cardstock. The vellum clouds were inlaid in the sky and the white clouds were adhered offset with foam adhesive squares as shown.

On the first card, the Picture Book Lamb was die cut from smooth white cardstock, Cotton Candy cardstock, Smoke cardstock, and black cardstock, and adhered to the sky scene as shown.

The Oh Baby Words Die was die cut from Cotton Candy cardstock, and the shadow die cut from smooth white cardstock. The die cut greetings were used to frame up the scene. An additional sentiment from the Oh Baby Stamp Set was stamped on Slate cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder before being trimmed into a thin strip and adhered to the design as shown.

My next card is very similar in design with the exception of switching out the images and using the Sweet Elephants Dies and using the Welcome Little One Dies for the greeting. The little hearts were leftovers from a past project die cut with my favorite Mini Hearts Die.

My final card share today features images from the Oh Baby Stamp Set stamped and colored with Copics, die cut with the coordinating dies and adhered over the sky background to create the scene. I love that you can create similar cards whether you use stamps or dies!

Lawn Fawn February Inspiration Week | Scalloped Box Card Pop Up + Elphie Selphie

Hey friends! It's time for the February Inspiration Week! Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the amazingly awesome new Scalloped Box Card Pop Up Die Collection plus the Elphie Selphie Stamps and Dies for a new baby card! I love how you can mix and match the Lawn Fawn stamps to create any themed card. Pop up cards are all the rage and nothing makes creating these quite as easy as dies! These Scalloped Box Card Pop Ups make these interactive cards a breeze to create!

The base of the card was created by die cutting two panels from a Perfectly Plaid Rainbow patterned paper. Inserts (four of them for this card, but you can use as many or as few "layers" as you want!) were die cut from Cilantro Cardstock. From a 3.25" wide piece of Cilantro Cardstock I die cut Simple Grassy Borders to attach to each layer to build my scene.

It's easiest to adhere the inserts with then box is flat (see video for step-by-step instructions). By adhering them when the pop up box is flat, everything goes together so much easier and also straighter (which is always a good thing!). ;)

The elephants, mouse, bird, and banner from the Elphie Selphie Stamp Set, the ducklings from the Hello Baby Stamp Set, and clothing from the Little Bundle Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and colored in with Copic Markers. The clothespins from Little Bundle were stamped with Walnut Ink and then the images were all die cut with the coordinating Elphie Selphie Dies, Hello Baby Dies, and Little Bundle Dies.

The clothesline pieces were die cut from smooth white cardstock and Black Licorice cardstock using the Scalloped Box Card Pop Ups. Color was applied to the clothesline poles with Copic Markers and then the clothesline was assembled before being adhered to the pop up box. The rest of the critters were adhered to the layers in the box as shown to finish the scene.

For the stitched panels on the inside and outside of the card, I die cut smooth white cardstock using the Scalloped Box Card Pop Ups dies. On one panel I stamped greetings from the Elphie Selphie Stamp Set and adhered it to the inside flap of the pop up box card. On another panel, I stamped the mouse from the Elphie Selphie Stamp Set and additional greetings from the Little Bundle Stamp Set and adhered it to the outside of the box card (see below). The final panel was stamped with first and second generation stars from from the Elphie Selphie Stamp Set using Mermaid Ink, Sunflower Ink, and Celery Stick Ink and then adhered on the background panel to finish the design.
