Happy Fri-yay! Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Let's Connect Release Blog Hop Day 1. Today I'm so excited to share this trio of funny toilet paper cards featuring lots of new stamps and die from the release. The We're Like Toilet Paper Stamp Set and coordinating dies were used throughout all three cars. The Interactive Toilet and Toilet Paper Slider created interactive elements on two of the three cards. The awesome Detail Petal Plate was used as a background for all three designs. I love how it almost gives that "quilted" toilet paper look! Let's get started creating these funny cards!

The Interactive Toilet was die cut from smooth white cardstock, silver foil cardstock, and Simon Says Stamp Sea Glass Cardstock. The toilet background was adhered directly to the card base above the sentiments. The layering pieces were adhered on top of the background design with foam adhesive. Shading was added with C00 and C2.
The images were adhered with foam adhesive as shown and the panel was secured to a white top fold card base to complete the card.
TOILET PAPER SLIDER CARD
The Toilet Paper Slider was die cut from smooth white cardstock. The images were shaded with COO and C2 Copic Markers. The slot was die cut from the gray background panel. Be sure you take into consideration hiding the slider when designing your card. (I talk about this int the video.) Foam adhesive was placed on the background panel. The foam adhesive helps the slider move easier.
Before placing the slider in place greetings from the We're Like Toilet Paper Stamp Set were stamped on the toilet paper. I had to alter the greeting to make it fit the portrait style of my design. The slider was put in place and the roll was adhered over the slider with foam adhesive along the tops and sides.
Toilet Paper Rolls: C00, C2, Colorless Blender, R00, E55, E57
Hearts: R24, R29, R39
A greeting from the We're Like Toilet Paper Stamp Set was stamped on Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Cardstock using clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The sentiment was die cut with the stamp set's coordinating die. The sentiments and images were adhered to the background with foam adhesive.
