Lawn Fawn Gold Rush Cardstock was trimmed to 4" x 5 1/4" and stenciled with the Simon Says Stamp Slimline Confetti Stencil and Gina K Designs Glitz Glitter Gel in Gold.

The Simon Says Stamp Cap & Gown Dies was die cut from Lawn Fawn No 2 Pencil Cardstock and shaded with Copic Markers in YR31, YR23, and YR24.

The Simon Says Stamp Congrats On A Line Dies was die cut from Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Cardstock. A greeting from the Simon Says Stamp Class Act Stamp Set was stamped on the die cut border with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

The Simon Says Stamp Solid Grid Background was stamped on a 4" x 5 1/4" smooth white cardstock with SSS Fog Ink. The Simon Says Stamp Slimline Confetti Stencil was stenciled over the background stamped image with Nuvo Mousse in Wrought Iron.

The cap and gown images from the Simon Says Stamp Class Act Stamps and Dies were stamped on smooth white cardstock with SSS Sunshine Ink and shaded with Copic Markers in YR31, YR23, and YR24. The images were die cut with the coordinating dies and adhered to the backgound as shown.

"Happy Graduation" was stamped on Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The greeting was die cut with the coordinating die and adhered to the card with foam adhesive. Another greeting from the set was stamped on smooth white cardstock with black ink and die cut with a Simon Says Stamp Nested Banners Die and adhered with foam adhesive.

Heart embellishments were added to the card front to complete the design.

Simon Says Stamp | Graduation Cards

Hello friends! It's that time of year again where I need to have some graduation cards on hand. This year I decided to go the more classy/elegant route with my backgrounds with the large Center Cut Star stamped and embossed and then watercolored with metallics and then some whimsical and fun greetings to finish off the designs.

The Center Cut Star was stamped on Lawn Fawn Chili Pepper and Blue Jay cardstock using Simon Says Samp Embossing Ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Two of the backgrounds were stamped with the full background and two were stamped after removing the star insert. All four backgrounds were watercolored with the Starry Colors White Gold and Champagne Gold watercolors and a water brush pen.

The Bravo Wafer Thin Die was used to die cut gold foil cardstock that was adhered to Fun Foam with Stick It Adhesive and adhered to the center of each star. Sentiments from the Messages For Everyday Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Lobster and Blue Jay inks, trimmed into thin strips, and adhered below the die cut greeting with foam adhesive.

Graduation caps from the Rad Grad Stamp Set were stamped with Lobster and Blue Jay inks, die cut with the coordinating Rad Grad Dies and adhered with foam adhesive to the design. Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard over the caps gives them a sparkly glittered finish.

For the remaining two cards, sentiments from Rad Grad and Messages for Everyday were stamped on smooth white cardstock. The Rad Grad greetings were die cut with the coordinating dies and adhered with foam adhesive. The graduation caps were finished just like the other two cards and Nuvo Crystal Drops in Simply White added the finishing details.

Simon Says Stamp | Under the Sea Animals (Set of 6 cards)

Hello friends! Building a background that ties a scene card all together is almost more important than the focal point of a design. For this set of six cards today, I switched up the greeting (two different styles) and only added two adorable stamped, colored, and die cut images from the Under the Sea Animals Stamp Set for my cards. Even though the images are a minimal, the backgrounds are the real scene stealers here because they showcase the adorable fish perfectly!

I made these cards for the four senior swimmers on my daughter's high school swim team and for the two coaches. The girls on the team signed the cards for the seniors and coaches and presented them to them with a gift at the end of season swim team banquet.

For the backgrounds, I stenciled Blueprint Sketch and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks through the Simon Says Stamp Waves Stencil directly onto smooth white cardstock. After lifting the stencil, I took the ink blending tools and without re-inking, I went over the stenciled design lightly to completely cover the "ocean". I spritzed the backgrounds with water from a Distress Sprayer and let the oxidation create the illusion of bubbles! So easy and so effective for an ocean scene card!

Greetings from the Simon Says Stamp Under the Sea Animals Stamp Set and Your Next Stamp Sports Fanatic Two Stamp Set were stamped on each background. Fish from the Simon Says Stamp Best Fishes Stamp Set were stamped on the background to give the illusion of depth and dimension.

The backgrounds were die cut with a Mama Elephant Dotted Detail Frame Die to remove a thin frame from each background. A new thin frame was die cut from smooth white cardstock to replace the frame for an inlay style background. This is one of my favorite ways to create an instant frame and not lose the look and feel of the background.

Images from the Under the Sea Animals Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Jet Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies before being adhered to each scene card as shown.

The Simon Says Stamp Painted Grad Die was die cut from Aqua Glitter Cardstock adhered to Fun Foam with Stick It adhesive and adhered to four of the cards as shown.

I die cut a Lawn Fawn Gift Card Pop Up and adhered it inside the two coaches cards.

Black and white gel pens were used to add detail to the eyes on the fish.

Fun Critters Graduation Cards

Hello! It's that time of year where I'm needing to finish up my graduation cards and today I'm using a combination of fun critters, including my all-time favorite Mama Elephant Page Huggers stamp set for these whimsical cards! Use your favorite critter images with a graduation cap and diploma (my favorite cap and diploma images are the Page Huggers ones as they work with so many different critters) and some congrats sentiments to make graduation cards of your own. Customize the sentiment greeting and caps to match the school colors of your graduate!

The backgrounds for each card were inked with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink and the MFT Clouds Stencil. Clouds are always one of my favorite backgrounds for graduation themed cards. I think the caps thrown in the air and the inspiring sentiments are encouraging for the graduate and that next stage in their life!

Greetings from the MFT Four Legged Friends or the Simon Says Stamp Messages For Everyday stamps sets were stamped directly on the cloud background of each card using black ink.

Dimensional die cut sentiments were die cut from smooth white cardstock adhered to Fun Foam with Stick It adhesive using the Winnie & Walter Congrats Die (available only on the W&W website) and the Mama Elephant Script Congrats Die. Each greeting was inked with Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink in an ombre look and adhered to the backgrounds as shown. Glossy Accents gives the greetings a glossy, bright finish. It's much easier to apply Glossy Accents if you have a fine tip applicator like THIS one or THIS one for your bottle.

A cloud border was die cut from smooth white cardstock using a Mama Elephant Landscape Trio Die and adhered along the bottom edge of each background using foam adhesive.

Dogs from the MFT Four Legged Friends Stamp Set and a bunny, cat, bear, mouse, graduation caps, and diploomas from the Mama Elephant Page Huggers Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Jet Black Ink and colored in with Copic Markers before being die cut with the coordinating Four Legged Friends dies and Page Huggers dies. The images were adhered to the scenes as shown.

Each card was finished with a scattering of sequins and silver star confetti and stamping an additional greeting from the Simon Says Stamp Messages for Everyday stamp set.

Honey Bee Stamps | Graduation Card

Hello! Today I have a graduation card featuring new stamps, dies, and sequins from the latest Honey Bee Stamps Release! I always like to have some graduation cards on hand so that by the time May rolls around I don't have to scramble to make up some cards.

For start my graduation card, I first used an Outdoor Scene Builder Stencil to ink up clouds on Bristol Smooth Cardstock using Salty Ocean Distress Ink. I want my balloons to appear to be floating up in the sky and the stencil creates the perfect single base layer!

Next, I stamped the balloons from the Penny the Platypus Stamp Set on Bristol Smooth Cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I stamped numbers from the Color Me Alpha Stamp Set on the balloons to customize them and heat embossed the numbers with white embossing powder as well. I die cut each of the balloons with the coordinating Penny the Platypus Dies and then used the embossed resist technique to ink up the balloons with Barn Door and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks. I used a water brush pen to add water to the numbers and carefully blotted up the water removing some of the ink in the process, lightening the numbers on the balloons!

Balloon strings were stamped on the cloud background with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with silver embossing powder. The balloons were adhered to the card with foam adhesive and Glossy Accents was applied to the numbers to give them a glossy, raised appearance.

The graduation cap from Penny the Platypus was stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Onyx Black Versafine Ink, colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, die cut with the coordinating die and adhered to the design as shown.

The Congratulations greeting die was die cut from silver glitter cardstock adhered to fun foam with Stick It Adhesive and adhered to the front of the card over the balloon strings. The front of the card was finished with a scattering of Silver Celebration Sequin Mix.

Mama Elephant | Graduation Thank You Cards

Hello! Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend. I finished up some graduation thank you cards for my oldest son using some of my favorite Mama Elephant stamps and dies and wanted to share them with you. While I made these graduation thank you's, this same design could be made for many different occasions just by switching up the accessory images and/or greetings. I made these assembly line style and while I didn't have a ton to make, the same steps could be taken to create even more cards. If you're wanting to make it go a bit faster, maybe use images that don't need coloring or use a few less "accessory" images! 

For the background, Bristol Smooth Cardstock was die cut using a stitched rectangle Index Card Die. Then greetings from the Many Thanks Stamp Set and Thank You Wishes Stamp Set was stamped in the upper right corner of the rectangles using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks were applied over the stitched rectangles as shown. The backgrounds were spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer and blotted dry with a paper towel.

Salty Ocean Distress Ink was painted in to the outline greeting using a water brush pen. This makes the bold greeting really stand out!

The box from the All Prettied Up Die Set was die cut from Bristol Smooth Cardstock and inked with Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs Distress Inks. The box was adhered to the card base as shown.

The bear, graduation cap, diploma, stack of books, and apple from the Page Huggers Stamp Set was stamped on Neenah Smooth White Cardstock using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and colored in with Copic Markers. The images were die cut with the coordinating Page Huggers Dies and adhered to the background panels as shown.

Each background panel was adhered to a 4 Bar White Card base to finish the design. The smaller cards are perfect for thank you notes!

Mama Elephant | Congrats You Did It (Graduation Page Huggers Card)

It's that time of year again where graduation cards are great to have on hand. In fact, the first graduation announcement of the year arrived at my house a couple days ago! Today I'm sharing a graduation card featuring the Mama Elephant Page Huggers Stamps and coordinating dies, Congrats Script die, Congrats All Around Stamp Set, and All Prettied Up Dies. How cute are these adorable critters adorned with graduation caps and holding diplomas?!!!!

The bear, cat, mouse, graduation caps, and diplomas from the Page Huggers Stamp Set were stamped on Neenah Smooth Cardstock using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink. The images were colored with Copic Markers and then die cut with the coordinating Page Huggers Dies. Detail was added to the images with a Sakura Black Glaze Pen and Glossy Accents.

A frame was die cut from smooth white cardstock using All Prettied Up Dies. A greeting from the Congrats All Around Stamp Set was stamped on the frame using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and colored in with Copic Markers.

A dimensional greeting was die cut from a Fun Foam, Stick It, Cardstock sandwich using the Congrats Script die and inked up with Barn Door Distress Ink. I adhered the dimensional greeting below the opening in the frame, above the stamped greeting.

A background for the frame opening was inked with Salty Ocean Distress Ink, spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer, blotted dry and adhered behind the opening. The critters were adhered around the opening as shown and two additional greetings from the Congrats All Around Stamp Set were stamped with Salty Ocean Distress Ink.

The entire panel was adhered to a top fold card base with foam adhesive and the design was finished with a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh Mini Star Silver Confetti.

Mama Elephant Designer Series | Page Huggers

Hi there! Today I have a Designer Series Gift Card Pocket Card featuring the Page Huggers Stamp Set and the coordinating Page Hugger Dies. These critters and dies are amazing because the paws die cut so that these sweet images can "hold on" to whatever you tuck them behind or in to! Such a great idea and makes for creating some super fun card designs! I dressed up the bear with the graduation cap, glasses, and diploma from the Page Huggers Stamp Set for this graduation-themed card.

I stamped the bear, graduation cap, glasses, diploma, stack of book, pencils, and apple from the Page Huggers Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using black ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers. I die cut the images with the coordinating Page Huggers dies, added Glossy  Accents to the glasses on the bear and set the image aside to dry.

For the pocket background, I die cut 2 frames from smooth white cardstock and one frame from black cardstock using the Dotted Details Frame Die. From one of the inside solid white rectangles I used the notched pocket die from the Dotted Details collection to make a pocket.

On the background rectangle, I applied Fossilized Amber Distress Ink through a Tim Holtz Rays Stencil and then blended Squeezed Lemonade over the top. I applied Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink to the pocket as well.

On the front pocket I stamped the "amazing" greeting from the Words Defined Stamp Set using black Ink. I stamped "congratulations" from the Labeled Messages Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using black Ink and cut out the greeting leaving a thin, white border.

The pocket was adhered over the background by applying adhesive to the sides and bottom. The "congratulations" greeting was adhered above the word "amazing" and the books, pencils and apple were adhere below the greetings as shown.

The bear was tucked behind the front edge of the pocket, the cap glued to his head and the diploma tucked under one of his paws.

I adhered the pocket rectangle to a top fold card base and then glued the Dotted Detail frames around the center panel one on top of another, finishing with the black frame.
