Welcome to the December 2020 Colorado Craft Company Anita Jeram Release!
Colorado Craft Company has released five new Anita Jeram stamp sets and one set of coordinating dies! I absolutely adore the Anita Jeram illustrations! The new stamps and dies are great for winter, New Year's, and eve holiday cards! I love that these designs can be used beyond the holiday season. I am sharing three cards created with three of the five stamp sets today (the other two will be featured in another video next week!). No line coloring with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and heavy use of lots of sentiments makes these one layer (or almost one layer) designs shine! Let's get started!

Hello friends! Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the brand new Lunar Sayings Stamp Set. I combined a sentiment phrase from the set with the Sakura Lanterns Creative Cuts dies for this quick and easy design. All the dies were die cut from smooth white cardstock and colored in with Copic Markers. I will be sending out these cards to several friends and family who have had a a difficult year as encouragement and hope for 2020!

For the background I inked a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel of smooth white cardstock with Hero Hues Pool Party Reactive Ink, creating an ombre effect of dark to light with a single color of ink.
The Sakura Lanterns frame and lanterns were die cut from smooth white cardstock. The cherry blossoms and branch along the top edge were colored with E55, E57, YG21, YG17, R21, and R22 Copic Markers.
The lanterns were colored with R35, R37, R39, and C8. The accent lantern pieces were die cut from Polished Gold Cardstock and adhered to the lanterns as shown.
The frame was secured to the background with double sided adhesive strips. The lanterns were glued to appear to be "hanging" from the branch. The card was finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Bright Gold.

I've got two very different cards but both feature the Inside Pop Card Holder dies! Lots of Mama Elephant stamps and dies have been used to create the Christmas card and New Year's cards below.
For my first card today, I used the Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Mint Shifter with Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet Distress Inks to create the plaid background. "Happy New Year" from the Happy New Year Wishes stamp set was stamped on the panel with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder before the panel was die cut with the Madison Ave frame die and the center was adhered to the center of a white top fold card base with foam adhesive. The frame was die cut again from Island Blue Cardstock and adhered around the center panel as shown.
Additional sentiment phrases from the Happy New Year Wishes stamp set were stamped on Island Blue Cardstock using clear embossing ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder, trimmed into thin strips, and adhered to the card with foam adhesive strips.
Champagne bottles from the Holiday Bitties Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with black ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. The images were adhered to the card front as shown.
For my second card I inked a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel of smooth white cardstock with Abandoned Coral and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks. A string of holiday lights and a greeting from the Bright Lights Stamp Set were stamped with black ink. The light bulbs were stamped with Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean, and Wilted Violet Distress Inks. A white opaque pen was used to reinforce the highlight on each light bulb. A layer of Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard was applied to each light bulb.
Copic Markers were used to color in the word "bright" in the sentiment and a layer of Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard was applied over the greeting.
Images from Yappy Woofmas and Trim the Tree were stamped on smooth white cardstock, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating Yappy Woofmas Dies and Trim the Tree Dies. The images were adhered with foam adhesive as shown.
The Inside Pop Card Holder dies makes giving a gift card so easy and unique! Coordinating stamps were used on the Inside Pop Card Holder dies on each card so that the gift card holder matches the front of the card design. See the video for easy instructions on how to attach the gift card holders to the inside of cards.

Hello friends! Today I'm revisiting a favorite Mama Elephant stamp set from 2017, Party Animals. Not only are these adorable bunnies and chicks perfect for birthdays and other celebrations, but with some champagne/sparkling cider and toasting glasses, they are the perfect critters for a New Year's celebration!
To start I inked a Bristol Cardstock background with Blueprint Sketch and Shaded Lilac Distress Inks before spritzing with water from a Distress Sprayer and blotting dry with a paper towel. Two borders die cut from smooth white cardstock using the cloud Landscape Trio Die border add the perfect border along the bottom edge.
Simon Says Stamp Silver Glitter Cardstock was adhered to Fun Foam with Stick It Adhesive before being run through a die cutting machine with the Hooray Script Die. I carefully adhered the die cut greeting to my card being sure not to push it in place yet as I still need to add the critters.
The bunnies, chicks, bottle, glasses, and balloons from the Party Animals stamp set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with black Versafine Ink. The balloons were customized with numbers from the Hollow Letters Stamp Set. The images were colored in with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils and blended with Gamsol and a stump pencil.
The images were die cut with the coordinating Party Animals dies and adhered to the scene as shown. The balloons, glasses, and bottle were finished with Nuvo Crystal Glaze for the shiny finish!
A greeting from the Just A Note Stamp Set was stamped on black cardstock with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder before being trimmed into a thin strip and adhered to the card as shown.
