Hello friends! Today I'm sharing a trio of card featuring a Big Ampersand inlay with some of my favorite Simon Says Stamp stencils, dies, and stamps as well as my favorite Pinkfresh Studio Inks. Background stenciling with a text stamped overlay is the perfect backdrop for the Big Ampersand and sentiments.

Each background was created by inking Pinkfresh Studio Dye Inks through a Simon Says Stamp stencil and then stamping over the stenciled background with the You Are Background Stamp and white pigment ink.
The Big Ampersand "shadow" or "outline" die was die cut from the background. The Big Ampersand was die cut from the outline design.
The background was adhered to a white top fold card base and a white die cut Big Ampersand was inlaid into the design, as well as the inside pieces of the ampersand.
The Big Ampersand was die cut from Fun Foam and the remaining stenciled piece was adhered to the Fun Foam with liquid adhesive and adhered to the design as shown.
Sentiments from the Ampersand Words Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Pinkfresh Studio Inks, die cut with the coordinating dies, and adhered to the card with foam adhesive.
Additional sentiments from the Ampersand Words Stamp Set were stamped on Lawn Fawn Guava Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The phrases were die cut with a Nested Banners die and adhered to the card with foam adhesive strips.

For my third background I applied Pixie Spray to the back of the Tumbling Leaves Stencil and layered it over a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of smooth white cardstock. Pinkfresh Studio Inks in so many colors were applied with blending brushes to build the beautiful floral background.

Starting with this release, all of our dies will come de-tabbed and pre-arranged on magnet storage sheets. Dies smaller than 4"x4" are still adhered to a backer card with tape. Yay!!!!
We've added Enamel Dots to our line. They are customized to include lots of the tiny dots that our cardmakers love. We have three designs for this release. The Clean & Clear set includes both white and clear dots, perfect for adding dimension and shine to any color combination. Stardust includes white and silver glitter dots. Up & Running features 7 colors of dots from the rainbow of Waffle Flower ink colors. Don't forget to check them out in the ink section on our website!
We have 5 new stamp sets and 7 dies in this release.
The big, elegant flowers from Magnolia (stamp, die, combo) was illustrated by Karla Jodoin and we have many more beautiful designs by her to come! These sets are great for coloring. The exquisite details in the stamp set will make it easy for even beginners to enjoy. You will also find the the sweet Group Hug (stamp, die, combo), illustrated by Big Bear & Bird. We just love how this brings us a warm and fuzzy feeling. The Here for You (stamp, die, combo) is designed by our fellow cardmaker and designer, JJ Bolton. It has all the sentiments you need to send a heartfelt message to your friends and family in their time of need. The Favorite Valentine (stamp, die, combo), illustrated by Kamo, is the cutest for creating valentines for the classroom and beyond. We also included a 3x4 Spice Potstamp set for quick cards this month.
The two stand alone panel dies in this release were designed by JJ Bolton and they both work great with the Here For You Stamp Set. The Tile Panel (die) is a modern but classic pattern and is so versatile that it can be used for both feminine and masculine cards. The Painted Landscape (die) is a unique die that makes it easy to create a mountain landscape scene with depth and texture, all in one layer!

Today I'm sharing two different themed card created in the same color scheme: peachy red! Abandoned Coral and Dried Marigold is one of my favorite color combinations and it works just as beautifully for a non-traditional colored Valentine's card as it does for a thinking of you design. Both background were inked and then stenciled with the Simon Says Stamp Large Falling Hearts Stencil.
Both cards feature sentiments stamped with Abandoned Coral Ink rather than a black ink. This was a conscious decision to better coordinate with the overall look and feel of each card design.
The borders on the Valentine Card were created by inking plain white cardstock with Abandoned Coral Ink in order to perfectly match the inked and stenciled strip. The large heart die from the Favorite Valentine Die Set was die cut from the inked and stenciled panel and then inked over with Abandoned Coral for a solid heart that shows up more against the rest of the design. The heart was stamped with greetings from the Favorite Valentine Set using clear embossing ink and heat setting with white embossing powder. The heart was adhered directly to the card base and the rest of the panel was adhered with foam adhesive.
Images for both cards were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The images were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, colored, and die cut with the coordinating Favorite Valentine and Group Hug dies.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard were used to embellish some of the hearts on the Valentine's card and Heart jewels were glued to each design for a bit of dimensional embellishment. A black gelly roll pen was used to add detail to eyes, noses, etc. on the images.

The girl from the Thinking of You girl stamp set was stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and masked with masking paper. The background was lightly inked with Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks and then the Halftone Background was stamped over the masked image with Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks. I switched up the inks because the Distress Oxide inks have pigment ink in them and the coverage is a bit better! I removed the mask and just fell in love with the background. So awesome!
The girl and kitty were colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I didn't bother masking the leaves and flowers as they are pretty small. The incredible thing is that Distress Inks and Zig Clean Color markers are both water based and work well together. That makes my life easier and I'm all about that, aren't you?!!!
The design was finished with a scattering of Honey Bee Stamps Hug Me hearts and a layer of Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard on the flowers.

Today I'm combining a bunch of the new stamps and dies for a set of four cards featuring some of my favorites from the new release, Bee Bold Alphabet Dies, Bunch of Bouquet Dies, and Bitty Patterns Stamp Set. The alphabet die set is fantastic for not only cards, but scrapbook pages, and even home decor and more! Consider pairing the alphabet dies with the new Stacking Pennants or Stacking Banners to create amazing banner designs!
Vases and flowers from the Bunch of Bouquet Dies were die cut from a rainbow of cardstock to match the inked letters. The vases were customized with the Bitty Patterns Stamp Set and ink before being adhered to each design. Details were added to the flowers and leaves with a white pen.

Welcome to the final day of the Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week!
I'm a day late getting this post up due to some internet issues (my kids thought the end of the world was near, ha!). Looks like we're up and running now and I have a super fun card to share with you today! The brand new Bayou Backdrop is an amazing die collection, perfect for creating die cut scenes! I paired the Bayou Backdrop dies with alligators from the Wild For You and Critters Down Under make the perfect scene card.
A Stitched Rectangle Die was used to die cut from smooth white cardstock. The inside rectangle was inked with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink, spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer, and adhered to a white side fold card base. The frame coordinates perfectly with the Bayou Backdrop and will make framing up this scene super simple!
Details were added to the scene with a white pen to finish the design.
