Currently I am doing a Friday morning Lives at 9 am CT. I adding a once monthly evening Live the last Monday of the month at 7 p.m CT. Replays will be on my YouTube Channel.
I have a few requests to edit the Lives. Currently I am not going to edit them. This is for a couple of reasons:
1) Lives are new to me and we are going to stick with this format for a bit. I personally love Lives. I haven't watched an edited Live so I reserve the right to reconsider in the future if I think it's something I can fit in my schedule.
2) I don't want to spend the precious hours I have for creating new content, editing a Live. I will be bringing the exact same amount of traditional content and videos to my channel. Lives/replays are in addition to that content.
If you want to join us for some real-time crafty fun each week I would love to "see" you there. Please make sure to SUBSCRIBE to my YouTube Channel and click the notification bell so that YouTube alerts you when I'm going live. I am trying to reach 100,000 subscribers so if you haven't subscribed yet I would SO appreciate it! I am grateful for my community on all the platforms!
Thanks to everyone who joined me today! I had a blast visiting with everyone. ❤️
Happy Wednesday! Today's Simon Says Stamp Limited Edition Exclusive Stamp Set is "Autumn Pumpkin" by Kitchen Sink Stamps. This 6" x 8" stamp set includes all you need to build incredible, realistic multi-step layered pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns, and leaves. The incredible layering of the designs creates the most realistic stamped designs that I am completely addicted to and I think you will be, too!
I am sharing both Halloween and Thanksgiving cards with this fabulous Autumn Pumpkin stamp set. I love that you can create pumpkins with or without the jack-o-lantern face. This set is perfect for all your fall-themed designs!
There are very limited quantities available and it is ONLY available at Simon Says Stamp this STAMPtember while supplies last. The exclusive collaborations are selling out in record time this year, so act fast if you can.
This is the 11th Anniversary of STAMPtember and it's bigger and better than ever! Thank you so much for being a part of this incredible month-long stamp party!

The Slimline Scallop Frame was die cut from smooth white cardstock. The frame was set aside and the inside rectangle was used as the card base for both scenes we are going to create.
We will also need three of the smooth white scallop frames for each card. I saved the inside rectangle pieces from the extra frames for other projects.
With an image layering stamp set, I highly recommend a MISTI. It makes lining up and stamping each layer so much easier!
For the Halloween card I used the following ink pads/color combinations:
I stamped two pumpkins and multiple leaves on the panel with the ink colors listed above.
Pro tip Dry each layer of ink with a heat tool to avoid wicking of each additional layer. If the area becomes too saturated with ink, you may not get the crisp, perfect layering you want. Drying each layer with a heat tool helps you to avoid that.
On one of the pumpkins I stamped the jack-o-lantern face, bats, and cat with Verafine Onyx Black Ink.
The "Happy" sentiment from the Autumn Pumpkin stamp set was stamped with Simon Says Stamp Sunshine ink and "Halloween" was stamped with and Simon Says Stamp Orange Slush ink. Additional Halloween phrases from the Simon Says Stamp Happy Haunting Stamp Set were stamped above and below the larger greeting with Simon Says Stamp Smoke Ink. The mix of fonts/phrases is one of my favorite parts of both of the cards. I think paired with the layered stamped images, it gives such a "professional" banner type of look!
For the Thanksgiving card I used the following ink pads/color combinations:
I stamped two pumpkins and multiple leaves and vines on the panel with the ink colors listed above.
The "Blessings" sentiment from the Autumn Pumpkin stamp set was stamped with Simon Says Stamp Sunshine ink and "Thanksgiving" was stamped with and Simon Says Stamp Khaki ink. Additional thankful phrases from the Simon Says Stamp Big Thanks Words were stamped above and below the larger greeting with Simon Says Stamp Dark Chocolate ink.
To finish the cards, a Slimline Nested Rectangle Die was die cut from Desert Storm Cardstock and adhered to a slimline card base (3 1/2" x 8 1/2"). A Slimline Scallop Frame was adhered to the card and the inside stamped rectangle was inlaid into the frame. Two more frames were added on top of the first for dimension.
