I am such a huge fan of shaped and/or interactive cards. These new Mailbox Gift Card Holder Cards from The Stamp Market have it all!

To create the shaped gift card holders, the Mailbox Gift Card Holder mailbox shape was die cut twice from Cherry Kisses, Leafy, or Blush Color Crush Cardstock. On the back panel for each set, the bottom scored tab was trimmed away (reference video for more details). The pull tab was also die cut from the same color or cardstock.

On the front and back of each mailbox The Stamp Market Criss Cross background was stamped to give the mailboxes some interest and character. I love a simple stitched pattern background, don't you?!!! I stamped the Cherry Kisses and Leafy mailboxes with Black Waterproof Premium Dye Ink and the Blush mailbox with Cherry Kisses Ink.

Greetings from the Merry Mail Stamp Set were stamped and embossed or stamped on the front of each mailbox and the "pull" sentiment from the Merry Mail Stamp Set was stamped on the pull of the sliding mechanism. The mailbox was assembled back to back, leaving room to slide in the pull tab. The tab on the front of the mailbox and the pull tab will "catch" revealing the gift card inside! It's so cool!

Envelopes from the Mailbox Gift Card Holder were die cut from Cherry Kisses, Leafy, or Blush Color Crush Cardstock. The Cherry Kisses and Leafy die cut envelopes were embellished by stamping Made With Love mini backgrounds on each. Berries and leaves from the Merry Mail Stamp Set were stamped with Cherry Kisses and Leafy inks and die cut with the coordinating dies before being added to each mailbox. Glossy Accents was used to embellish the berries.

The Stitched Alphabet Dies and the Stitched Tag Die were used together to create these monogram gift tags.

The Stitched Tag Die was die cut from Cherry Kisses or Leafy cardstock twice (front and back for each tag). The front of each tag was stamped with The Stamp Market Criss Cross background using Black Waterproof Premium Dye Ink. A Stitched Alphabet Dies was die cut from the stamped front and then cross-stitched with 6 strands of white embroidery floss.

The back of each tag was stamped with "to" and "from" from the Merry Mail Stamp Set using Black Waterproof Premium Dye Ink. The tags were adhered back to back. Hole reinforcers were die cut from black cardstock and placed on the front and back of the tag. Red and white baker's twine was knotted through each and berries and leaves from the Merry Mail Stamp Set were stamped with Cherry Kisses and Leafy inks and die cut with the coordinating dies before being added to each mailbox. Glossy Accents was used to embellish the berries.

The Stamp Market | Color Crush Release Blog Hop

Welcome to The Stamp Market Color Crush Release Blog Hop!

I'm so super excited to be hopping along with The Stamp Market today, celebrating the brand new Color Crush Release. This incredible collection includes the most amazing cardstock and ink colors, enamel dots, and more! Over the last couple of weeks on Instagram I've been sharing sneaks of cards I've made with these new cardstock and ink colors. I am showing all those below in addition to a brand new card share featuring the new Large Leaves Stamp Set and coordinating dies, Plaid Stencil, Collection 1 Enamel Dots, Collection 2 Enamel Dots, and A Few Words Stamp Set and coordinating dies.

I created the background for my card by stenciling the Plaid Stencil with Citrine, Leafy, Sea Glass, Tropic Teal, and Emerald Isle dye inks with the Ink Blending Tools. These inks apply like butter through the stencil!

Next I stamped the leaves from the new Large Leaves Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock with Citrine, Leafy, Tropic Teal, and Emerald Isle inks. The leaves were die cut with the coordinating Large Leaves Dies and adhered to the stenciled background as shown.

The A Few Words "thank you" sentiment was stamped on smooth white cardstock with Emerald Isle Ink and then die cut with the coordinating A Few Words die. The phrase was die cut two more times and stacked one on top of another for a more bold greeting and adhered to the card.

The phrase from the Large Leaves Stamp Set was stamped on Tropic Teal Cardstock with clear embossing ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder, trimmed into a thin strip and adhered to the card with foam adhesive.

Collection 1 & Collection 2 Enamel Dots were adhered to the design to finish the card!

Big Picture Book Bears + Little Letterboards

Welcome friends! I'm so glad you're joining me today.

Back in December I created some gift tags combining The Stamp Market Little Letterboards (my favorite!) with some large faces created with Mama Elephant Santa/Elf Favor Bag Add On. You can see that project HERE. Ever since then I've had ideas swirling in my head to combine the Simon Says Stamp Big Picture Book animals with the Little Letterboards and today I'm sharing my first cards using this idea!

The backgrounds of my cards were created from Honey Bee Stamps Great Outdoors woodgrain patterned paper. With the die cuts taking up so much of the front of the card I wanted to have something subtle in the background that wasn't "flat" but that didn't overwhelm the cut bears and letter boards. Woodgrain or tone-on-tone patterns are always my go-to for this.

The Stamp Market Little Letterboards were die cut from Lawn Fawn white Neutrals Cardstock (frame) and Hero Hues Pitch Black Cardstock (letterboard). The frame was adhered to the backing as shown. The letters were die cut from 15 different colors of cardstock and a rainbow of letters were used to build the sentiments on the letter boards! Any leftover letters can be saved and used on additional projects! I'm a big fan of this technique as you don't have to follow a set pattern and can mix and match the letters for bright and colorful greetings!

I used the Sakura Quickie Glue and craft tweezers to adhered the letters to the letter board. The tweezers were perfect for exact placement and the Quickie Glue didn't leave a mess!

A heart accent from Honey Bee Stamps adorns each letter board greeting.

A stamped phrase from The Stamp Market Bear Hugs Stamp Set was stamped on smooth white cardstock with black dye ink, trimmed into a thin strip and adhered to the letter board with foam adhesive.

For the Picture Book Bear Card, the bear face and paws were die cut from Lawn Fawn Chocolate Bar Cardstock, Ground Coffee Cardstock, Hero Hues Peony Cardstock, and Hero Hues Pitch Black Cardstock using the Simon Says Stamp Big Picture Book Bear Die and the Mama Elephant Favor Bag Dog Add On die (paws). A white pen was used to add detail to the face and Glossy Accents was added to the eyes and nose.

A bow was created from Lawn Fawn Mermaid Cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Put A Bow On It Dies.

For the Picture Book Panda card, the bear face and paws were die cut from smooth white cardstock and Hero Hues Pitch Black Cardstock using the Simon Says Stamp Big Picture Book Panda Die and the Mama Elephant Favor Bag Dog Add On die (paws). A white pen was used to add detail to the face and Glossy Accents was added to the eyes and nose.

A bow was created from Hero Hues Cherry Cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Put A Bow On It Dies.

Stitched Rainbow Cards

Hello friends! These clean and simple stitched rainbow cards feature mixing and matching products from multiple manufacturers. The Stamp Market Dotted Rainbow was combined with greetings from the Say It All Friend Stamp Set, Surf's Up Stamps and Dies, and Simon Says Stamp Nested Banners Dies.

The Stamp Market Dotted Rainbow was die cut from smooth white cardstock for both backgrounds. For the double rainbow panel I first measured halfway down the background (2 3/4") and then 1/4" above that mark and 1/4" below that mark to get the placement for the rainbows. This leaves a great space in between the two for embellishing.

The rainbows were stitched with crochet thread. I get mine from Hobby Lobby. You can also use embroidery floss if that's what you have on hand!

Once the panels were stitched, they were backed with foam adhesive. Foam adhesive helps disguise the knots and stitching on the back of the panels so that they lie flat when adhered to a card.

Strips of Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow patterned papers were adhered along the long sides of top fold white cardstock bases. The backing paper from the foam adhesive was removed and the stitched panels were adhered in place.

Greetings from the Simon Says Stamp Say It All Friend Stamp Set, were stamped on black cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The greetings were die cut with Simon Says Stamp Nested Banners Dies.

Clouds from the Surf's Up Stamps and Dies were die cut from smooth white cardstock and adhered to the cards with foam adhesive as shown.

Sunshines from the Surf's Up Stamps and Dies were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Sunshine Ink and die cut with the coordinating die before being adhered to the cards. Seagulls from the set were stamped with black ink.

The sentiment banners were adhered with foam adhesive strips and Honey Bee Stamps Candy Hearts in Kiss Me were glued in place to complete the designs.

Valentine's Bear Hugs Felt Ornaments

Today's gift tags are inspired by THESE Bear Hugs Ornaments I made during the holiday season. I love the Essentials By Ellen Bear Hugs bear so much that I'm finding ways to make felt ornaments year round just by changing up the accessories, colors, and what the bear is holding! Just like the holiday felt plush ornaments I added perfectly matching gift tags with the coordinating All Inside Stamp Set. Simply remove the paper tag and the recipient is left with an adorable plush ornament decoration! I pulled out all the stops with these: they are stuffed with polyester fiberfill, I sewed on sequins/beads, additional felt pieces were added and I even made heart-shaped paper tags that can be removed after the gift has been given so that the bear can be an ornament or decoration.

Each felt bear was created using the following:

Cut two of the Bear Hugs bear shape using Marshmallow, Heather White, or Heather Gray felt.
Cut arms with the Bear Hugs dies using matching felt.
Cut nose with the Bear Hugs dies using black felt.
Cut hearts with the Candy Hearts dies using Red Hot, Cherry Blossom, and Pink Sherbert felt. (use the little mini hearts for cheeks and backside of the bears)
Cut hair bows with the Put A Bow On It dies using Red Hot, Cherry Blossom, and Pink Sherbert felt.
Cut hearts for backside with the Tiny Gift Box Raccoon and Fox Add On dies.

The Bear Hugs nose and Candy Hearts cheeks were hot glued to the front of each bear.

Eyes were created with french knots and a mouth was backstitched with black embroidery floss. The mouth was also stitched with black embroidery floss.

The Candy Hearts were stitched together and then hot glued to the front of each bear front.

Sequins and seed beads were stitched to the hearts the bears are holding for extra embellishment.

Hearts from the Tiny Gift Box Raccoon and Fox Add On and Candy Hearts were hot glued to the backside of each bear.

The bears were stitched back to back, twine was sandwiched between the layers, and stuffed with polyester fiberfill.

Bows from the Put A Bow On It were hot glued together and then hot glued to the top of each bear's head.

The arms were stitched at the sides and hot glued over the present and tree to secure them to the front.

For the matching gift tags, the Mama Elephant Scallop Tags Trio were used to die cut a Bristol Smook Cardstock tag for the front and a smoke gray cardstock tag for the back.

The bear from the All Inside Stamp Set was stamped on each white tag, the arms were masked, and a heart was stamped in the arms of each bear. The masks were removed and the images were colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

I used the following color combinations:

Bear: 091 Light Gray, 201 Pink Haze, 999 Blender
Hearts: 022 Carmine Red, 021 Light Carmine, 202 Peach Pink, 200 Sugared Almond Pink, 201 Pink Haze

A black pen was used to add detail to the eyes and nose. A white pen adds highlight to the nose.

On the gray cardstock back of each tag, a sentiment from The Stamp Market Bear Hugs Stamp Set was stamped with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

The tags were threaded onto the twine and the twine knotted to secure each paper tag to the felt tag.

Handmade Holiday 2018 | Little Letterboard Gift Tags + GIVEAWAY

Welcome to Day 5 of my last minute Handmade Holiday 2018 Series!

(there will be one more day, so please stay tuned for my final Handmade Holiday post coming soon!)

I'm back with my fifth year of last minute handmade ideas! Five years, you guys. Wow. Thank you so much for your support of this series. I have been overwhelmed and almost considered not doing the series this year but I kept getting emails and comments asking for it so I sat down to make a list of projects I could do and I got really excited. So this series is for you crafting friends. I appreciate each and every one of you and y'all make this possible. Much love to everyone.

The goal of this series is adding handmade touches to gifts for our friends and family. Even with the craziness of the season I like to be able to personalize the gifts under our tree. Over the next couple of weeks I'll be sharing mostly quick (an hour or less) Handmade Holiday ideas for cards, tags and gift wrapping sure to add that handmade touch we all love. Most ideas will include multiples (today I created four little letterboard tags)!

LITTLE LETTERBOARD GIFT TAGS

I'm a huge fan of letterboards and we have several in our home. What could be better than bringing the letterboard trend into our cardmaking and paper crafting?!!! The Stamp Market unveiled this adorable Little LetterBoard Die Set during Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales and I immediately had to make a tag with it. Click HERE to see that first tag on Instagram. Today I'm going to share how I made several letterboard tags and even a little variation using dies from Mama Elephant paired with The Stamp Market Little Letterboard. The sky is the limit with crafting. Mix and match your supplies to showcase your unique style! I hope y'all enjoy the tags today.

These Little Letterboard gift tags feature dimensional die cut letters on the letterboard fronts and stamped and embossed sentiments and "to/from" on the backs for a polished and professional look.

The letterboard back was die cut from Simon Says Stamp Schoolhouse Red Cardstock.

On the back of each red panel, sentiments/phrases from The Stamp Market Merry Days and Made With Love stamp sets were stamped with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

The frame was die cut from smooth white cardstock and adhered over the red background front. I layered two frames per letterboard to give the frame a bit more dimension.

Smooth white cardstock was adhered to Fun Foam using Stick It Adhesive and the Little Letterboard alphabet die was die cut from the medium multiple times. The benefit of die cutting the letters from the dimensional material is that they stay together and are easy to pull out and adhere to your project. I used a small pair of craft tweezers to make it even easier working with the small alphabet.

For the variation on the tags, I paired the Little Letterboard with the Mama Elephant Favor Bag Santa/Elf Add On (santa, hat) and the Favor Bag Dog Add On ("mittens"). I colored in Santa's face with Copic Markers and assembled him according to the video directions. The letter board was adhered right below his nose and the "mittens" to either side of the letterboard to make it appear he is holding it in front of himself! Isn't it cute?!!! Image making lots of these with elves, reindeer, or other Mama Elephatn Favor Bag Add On critters. The Simon Says Stamp Big Picture animals would work great as well!

Holes were punched in each tag and red/white baker's twine threaded through and knotted to finish the tags.

Holiday gift packaging is always one of my most favorite projects to create! The latest stamps and dies from The Stamp Market's October 2018 Release are perfect for all kinds of gift giving, card-making, and paper crafting projects!

First, the Scalloped Gift Box Die is the perfect size for tucking small gifts or treats inside! Imagine wrapping it all up in cellophane and handing out goodies to neighbors, family, and friends! Depending on how you adorn this box, it can be used year-round for gift giving!

For the green box, I stamped snowflakes from the Merry Days Stamp Set all over the box with clear embossing ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder and assembled as shown.

The box is adorned with a stamped candy cane from the No Peeking Stamp Set and a Made With Love Tag. Some twine wrapped around the box and the assembled bow from the set complete this cute design.

My second Scalloped Gift Box Die was stamped with the Perfect Polka Dot Background Stamp using clear embossing ink and heat embossed with gold glitter embossing powder before being adorned with the new Gold Metallic Ribbon, assembled bow, a stamped Made With Love Tag, and stamped and embossed leaves from the No Peeking Stamp Set!

I mixed in some previously released product with new releases for these tags and gift card holder.

The Gift For You Bag was stamped with clear embossing ink using the Perfect Polka Dot Background and heat embossed with white embossing powder before being assembled. Trees from the Merry Days Stamp Set were stamped and embossed before being die cut and adhered to the front of the gift bag. The tag from Gift For You was stamped with a sentiment from the Merry Days Stamp Set and tied to the bag handle with twine as shown.

The No Peeking Ornament makes a great gift tag like I have shown here but also a fantastic scrapbook page or card embellishment!

This Made With Love tag was stamped with Chunky Numbers and a sentiment from the Merry Days Stamp Set and embossed with gold glitter embossing powder. Holly and berries from Merry Days were stamped, embossed, die cut, and adhered to the tag. Gold Metallic Ribbon completes the design.

This littler banner of stockings was created by stamping stocking and a greeting from the Merry Days Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock, die cutting with the coordinating dies, and threading them all onto some thin string. Easy and cute. This can be added to a scrapbook page, card, or used on a mini tree, etc.! So many possibilities!

The Stamp Market | Made With Love Blog Hop + GIVEAWAY

Today The Stamp Market has unveiled their latest release, Made With Love!

Just in time for the holidays, this awesome stamp/die bundle makes the most adorable tags for those homemade goodies and gifts we'll be giving in December!

The first set of tags I made are for some awesome little relaxation gift sets my daughter is making up for her best girlfriends for Christmas. My daughter is making the amazing bath bombs. (We've tried them out and they make your skin feel amazing!) Also in the gift are some fuzzy socks, lip balm, lotion, and a mini candle! The perfect girlie gift! Homemade doesn't have to be sugary treats and I love that many of the greetings in the Made With Love Stamp Set will work for any type of homemade gift!

I die cut the medium sized tag from smooth white cardstock and Lawn Fawn Chili Pepper Cardstock. On the white tag, I stamped the diagonal lines from the Made With Love Stamp Set using Chili Pepper Ink. The sentiment was stamped with a black dye ink.

On the back of each tag, the "to/from" greeting and the "handmade..." phrase were stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

The tags were adhered back to back, an eyelet was set through the top of each tag, red twine was tied around the tag (fits perfectly in that notched area!), and then finished with white string threaded through the top.

I layered the tag with a die cut Stemmed Leaves Die from Noble Fir Cardstock, securing them to the gifts with a mini clothes pin.

These next tags are the perfect size for the Gift For You Tote! These little bags are the perfect size for a piece of chocolate or other small goodies and would be adorable tied to the top of gifts or given as a gift themselves!

The small tags were made really similar to the medium sized ones, I just changed up the sentiments/images as shown. I used the die cut Stemmed Leaves Die from Noble Fir Cardstock again to layer and give a pop of color and texture to the design.

My final two tag shares today feature the largest tag. These are going to be used on some homemade goodies we give to friends, family, and/or neighbors this holiday season!

Just like the other tags above, each of these tags has a "front" and a "back" and featured an eyelet through the top and string.

There are so many ways to use these amazing new stamps and dies! I hope this has inspired you in your tag-making this holiday season.

The Stamp Market | Build You Own Plaid "Hello" Card

Happy Monday friends! My kids are back to school, the house is thankfully quiet, and I'm ready to create! I love having them home for the summer but it puts a serious dent in my productivity having them here and running in and out when I work from home.

Today I'm thrilled to be guest designing for The Stamp Market again with this build your own plaid card featuring the Just Checking In Stamp Set. With several sizes of plaid to choose from, you can create all kinds of amazing plaid backgrounds!

On a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of smooth white cardstock, I stamped the large "hello" greeting from the Just Checking In Stamp Set at an angle using black dye ink and the MISTI and the Creative Corners guides to get perfect placement. I masked off the large greeting with post it tape and stamped the second to smallest plaid from the Just Checking In Stamp Set using Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks. I removed the mask so it appears that there is a plaid "paper" along the bottom of the card as shown.

I stamped another sentiment from the Just Checking In Stamp Set on black cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossed the greeting with white embossing powder. I cut the sentiment into a thin strip and adhered it underneath the "hello" at an angle.

A flower and leaves from the Flower Market Stamp Set were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder. I colored in the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush pen for gorgeous watercolored-looking flowers. The images were die cut with the coordinating Flower Market Dies and adhered to the card as shown.

The design was finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Carnation Pink, Ripened Pumpkin, Apple Green, and Morning Dew.

The Stamp Market | Flower Market Card and Matching Gift Card Holder

Hello!

I'm thrilled to be guesting for The Stamp Market with a Flower Market Stamp Set and coordinating gift card holder made with the Gift For You Dies.

For the card, a greeting from the Flower Market Stamp Set was stamped on smooth white cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Antique Gold Embossing Powder. A solid flower image from the Flower Market Stamp Set were stamped all over the background using Simon Says Stamp Rose Apple, Cotton Candy, and Rosie Cheeks Dye Inks. The leaves were stamped with Simon Says Stamp Mint Candy and Mint Inks. Additional flowers were stamped with the same ink colors on another piece of paper and die cut with the coordinating dies before being adhered on top with foam adhesive.

The card was finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Bubblegum Blush, Key Lime, and Pale Gold.

The coordinating gift card holder was die cut from smooth white cardstock and stamped with a greeting from the Gift For You Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Antique Gold Embossing Powder. More flowers from the Flower Market Stamp Set were stamped on the gift card holder before assembling. A tag was also die cut and stamped before being tied to the top of the bag with gold metallic cord.
