Hello friends! Shaker cards continue to be one of my favorite kinds of cards to create. Today I'm sharing how to create this Peeking Bunny Easter-themed shaker card sure to make anyone smile!

I've been loving yellow lately so I went with a tone-on-tone yellow card for this Easter shaker design!
The Peeking Bunny was die cut from the inside rectangle.
*PRO TIP* To make this the perfect sized circle for the flocked bunny we will die cut next, turn the die and die cut it again!
The Peeking Bunny was die cut from Thermoweb flocked paper and trimmed to a rectangle to fit behind the gingham panel. A piece of acetate was placed behind the rectangle and the bunny "pieces" were inlaid into the shape.
The outer frame and thin white frame were adhered directly to the white top fold card base. Foam adhesive was placed in the center creating a "well" for the sequins mix. The sequins were added and the bunny panel was placed on top.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in Black Ebony were used for the bunny's eyes and a bow was die cut from a Lawn Fawn Tiny Gift Box set and added to the bunny's ear!

Happy Tuesday friends! I'm thrilled to be joining My Favorite Things for their MFT & Friends Feature for the March 2019 Release! I've created a trio of cards to share today featuring lots of new stamps and dies from the release. All of the cards showcase the spotlight inlay technique with the brand new A2 Rectangle Frames. This is such a fun and easy technique to instantly add a border to any design.
V I D E O T U T O R I A L
Watch the creation of these spotlight inlay cards from start to finish below or click HERE to watch in HD:
My first two cards feature a stenciled background using the previously released Grassy Edges Stencil and the brand new Ray of Light Stencil. The Grassy Edges was applied to the bottom of each panel with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink and the Ray of Light was inked to the top of the design with Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed Distress Inks using the Life Changing Brushes.
The new A2 Rectangle Frames were used to die cut a frame from the background. Two additional frames were die cut from smooth white cardstock. To put the background together, adhesive was applied to a card base and the outer frame, new white die cut frame, and inside rectangle were adhered to the card base first for an inlay die cut look.
Next, a white frame was added on top and finally the stenciled frame was adhered to finish. The entire stenciled panel is shown but the frame part is "popped up" drawing your eye in and emphasizing the frame!
Ducks and clouds from the brand new Just Ducky Stamp Set were stamped with the Ink on 3 fadeout ink onto Bristol Smooth Cardstock and colored with the no-line technique using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The images were die cut with the coordinating Just Ducky dies and adhered to the scene as shown.
A sentiment from the Just Ducky Stamp Set was stamped along the bottom of the frame with Lawn Fawn Jalapeno Ink and a scattering of Honey Bee Stamps Candy Hearts in Kiss Me were adhered to finish the design.
The bunny card was stenciled much the same, only a smaller frame was used to die cut the background. Two sentiments from the Easter Bunnies Stamp Set were stamped on the background with Lawn Fawn Sunflower and Jalapeno Inks.
Easter Bunnies images were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, die cut with the coordinating Easter Bunnies dies, and adhered to the inlay frame design as shown. The card was finished with a scattering of Honey Bee Stamps Candy Hearts in Hug Me.
For my final card today I stamped the new Fresh-Cut Flowers Background cling stamp on a Bristol Smooth Cardstock card panel using clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The images and background were watercolored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush pen.
Once dry, the background was die cut with an A2 Rectangle Frame and assembled like the previous two cards.
A vellum banner was die cut using a Stitched Fishtail Sentiments Strip and stamped with a greeting from the Anything But Basic Encouragement Stamp Set using embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The strip was run through a Xyron Sticker Maker and adhered to the card. The design was finished with a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh Pansy Purple Jewels and a Honey Bee Stamps Crystal Clear Heart.

The Hop Into Spring dies from the Small Die of the Month were die cut from FSJ Rustic Rose, Peaches & Cream, Banana Cream, Pineapple Smoothie, Lemongrass, Pool Play, Pretty Amethyst, Whip Cream, and Tin Pail cardstocks. The scene was assembled against the line of stenciling for the background as shown.
Eyes were added to the bunnies with black and white glaze pens. Nuvo Crystal Drops in Gloss White were added to the centers of the flowers.
"Be Happy" from the Small DOM dies was die cut three times from Banana Cream Cardstock, glued one on top of another and adhered below the die cut scene as shown.
Sentiments from the Some Bunny Special Stamp Set were stamped along the top of the card over the stenciling using Simon Says Stamp Duckling Ink. Another phrase from the stamp set was stamped on Lemongrass Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder before being trimmed into a thin strip and popped up with foam adhesive under the die cut greeting as shown.

The Tulip Collage was die cut from smooth white cardstock, inked with Lawn Fawn Celery and Jalapeno inks, and then colored in with Copic Markers around the opening to add definition to the design. This helps make the frame more a part of the design with the other colored in elements.
A background panel was inked with the MFT Mini Cloud Edges stencil and Lawn Fawn Minty Fresh ink. Hearts from the Bunny Wishes Stamp Set were stamped with Jalapeno Ink around the front panel.
Images from the Bunny Wishes Stamp Set was stamped with Hero Arts Intense Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating Bunny Wishes dies. Here are the colors of Copic Markers I used:
The main image was layered and adhered to the cloud stenciled background. The Tulip Collage panel was adhered over the background with foam adhesive. The birds were adhered to the panel as shown.
The Spring Blessings Die was die cut twice from smooth white cardstock, layered one on top of another and glued in place. Another sentiment from the Bunny Wishes Stamp Set was stamped on Mermaid Cardstock with clear embossing ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder, trimmed into a thin strip, and adhered to the card with foam adhesive.

Hello! I'm so excited to share this fun little scene card today. After revisiting the Lawn Fawn Stitched Garden Border with THIS card recently, my mind is just spinning with ideas for this die set! I knew i wanted to create an Easter card with the Simon Says Stamp Big Picture Book Bunny and I thought the Garden Border would be the perfect way to create a scene and y'all, I was right! Throw in some Lawn Fawn Mini Easter Eggs and I couldn't love this more!

The background of the card was created by stenciling the MFT Clouds on smooth white cardstock with Lawn Fawn Minty Fresh Ink. A border was die cut from smooth white cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Garden Border die and colored in with E55, E57, and E47 Copic Markers. Carrots from the same die collection were colored in with YR01, YR04, YR09, YG21, YG23, and YG17. The carrots were tucked into the garden border and the border was adhered along the bottom edge of the background.
The Simon Says Stamp Big Picture Book Bunny and Big Picture Book Little Body dies were die cut from smooth white cardstock and colored in with W00, W1, W3, and R00. The bunny was assembled and adhered tucked behind the garden border as shown.
Lawn Fawn Mini Easter Eggs were die cut from smooth white cardstock, colored in with Copic Markers (RV52, RV55, G00, G02, Y11, Y08, BV11, BV13), layered, and adhered to the scene.
Eyelashes were drawn onto the bunny with a fine top black pen. A white gel pen was used to add highlights to the nose and the eyes. Glossy Accents was applied to the eyes and nose for a glossy finish.

Hi friends! I've received quite a few questions wanting to know if the new Mama Elephant Bunny Favor Bag Add On would fit the Lawn Fawn Goodie Bag. If you don't mind a couple of adjustments to the die cut bunny, you can create a smaller version of the Bunny Favor Bag (from THIS blog post). In the video below, I'll compare both bags, show the dimensions of each and share the adjustments that need to be made to make the bunny fit the Goodie Bag.
To make the Mama Elephant Bunny Favor Bag Add On fit the Lawn Fawn Goodie Bag you'll need to trim approximately 1/8" off each side and 1/4" off the bottom. This will allow you to still have plenty of room to add the sweet bunny face, but the ears won't cover up too much of the Goodie Bag handles.

I am SO excited about Mama Elephant's newest collaboration with Hampton Art with these stamp and die sets featuring some of their most popular images. They've even added some new critters that will work perfectly with the original sets! My favorites? The Dos Amigos that are new critters to coordinate with Three Amigos and the Up We Go critters that coordinate with the Up and Away Set. I can't wait to show you a project with some of these cuties!!!
