Hello friends! Today I'm popping in here quick with my December 2020 Making the Cut card featuring inlay love birds for this lovely card! The brand new Love Birds Wafer Dies, Love On A Line Wafer Dies, Mini Hearts Party Wafer Dies, and Love Greetings Mix Stamp Set from the Love You Release are featured. Patterned papers give these birds and branch so much character and texture without the need for additional inking or coloring for shading. Love that. Let's get started!

The flowers were tucked into the vase. Twine was wrapped around the base and the whole thing was adhered to the card front as shown. The bees were adhered with foam adhesive.
The honey dipper from the Honey Pot Fancy Dies was die cut from Lawn Fawn Paper Bag and No 2 Pencil cardstock, pieced together, and shaded with Copic Markers in E55, E57, YR23, and YR24.
The 4" x 5 1/4" panel was adhered to a white top fold card base.
When dry, greetings from the Bee the Queen Stamp Set was stamped using Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. A Lawn Fawn No 2 Pencil cardstock background was trimmed to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Another greeting from the stamp set was stamped and embossed to be visible when one of the "windows" opens. The honeycomb panel was adhered over the background and any windows not to be opened were glued in place to secure.
The queen bee, bees, and honey dipper were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf Ink (a light brown ink for Copic coloring) and colored with the following Copic Marker color combinations:
Queen: W6, W8, YR23, YR31, BG72, BG70, R11
Bees: W6, W8, YR23, YR31, BG72, BG70, R11
Honey Dipper: E55, E57, YR23, YR31
The images were die cut with the coordinating Bee the Queen Dies and adhered to the front and inside the windows as shown.
The rest of the images were stamped with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf Ink and colored with the following Copic Markers:
Bee: YR23, YR31, BG70, BG72, W6, W8
Leaves: YG93, YG95, YG99
The flower from the Bees and Flowers Fancy Die was die cut from smooth white cardstock and colored with Copic Markers in YR30, YR31, YR23, YR24, and E57.
The images were adhered to the design as shown. Heart accents were added to the card for embellishment.

A few months ago, my friend, Kim Kesti, sent me the My Happy Place Dies and today I am sharing this set of four cards I created with this amazing versatile die set!I love that these dies can be used to create not only fun buildings, castles, houses, etc. but also candles! The possibilities are endless with a die set like this. These cards also utilize one of my most favorite techniques: mixing and matching from multiple companies! I used Simon Says Stamp, Spellbinders, and MFT Stamps for these cards today.

I love creating multiple cards while I have all the supplies out. These birthday cards are bright and fun and all use the same supplies, just different layouts of the blocks dies and different stamped phrases. The subtle stamped and embossed backgrounds add to the overall look and feel of the design(s).

I used all the same supplies for all four cards, just mixed up the background papers used and the sentiment strips.
The Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Strips Everything Winter were foiled with silver foil before being adhered to each design. It's a small thing, but one that makes a big difference. I love that the text now matches the rest of the card(s)!

Happy snowy Wednesday from the midwest! This snowy, cold morning is the perfect time to share this trio of snowflake-themed cards featuring the January 2021 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit, Snowflake Season! This is probably my all-time favorite Simon Says Stamp Card Kit. Ever. The patterned papers from Whimsy Stamps, Blurry Flurries, are my newest favorite. In fact, I just picked up the entire paper pad from SSS so I have lots and lots and lots of these beauties to make pretty cards.

Colorado Craft Company has released five new Anita Jeram stamp sets and one set of coordinating dies! I absolutely adore the Anita Jeram illustrations! I am sharing three cards created with three of the five stamp sets today (the other two will be featured in another video next week!). All three backgrounds were created exactly the same just on different colors of cardstock. The Prismatic Snowflakes were stamped around the edges of the background panel and embossed with gold, silver, clear, and white embossing powders. A text stamp was stamped over the background to add some interest and the edges of the designs inked to soften the effect.

Welcome to Day 2 of my last minute Handmade Holiday 2020 Series!
I'm back with my seventh year of last minute handmade ideas! (Last year was rough emotionally and I actually only got one video up but I'm still going to count it.)
Thank you so much for your support of this series. I appreciate each and every one of you and y'all make this possible. Much love to everyone.
The goal of this series is adding handmade touches to gifts for our friends and family. Even with the craziness of the season I like to be able to personalize the gifts under our tree. Over the next few days I'll be sharing ideas for cards, tags and gift wrapping sure to add that handmade touch we all love. Most ideas will include multiples (today I created 3 snow globe shaped feline spinner gift tags)!
Each Handmade Holiday project blog post will feature a brand new, never before seen project(s) plus an incredible giveaway from.... me!

Spinner tags have been one of my most liked Handmade Holiday projects over the years. Check out the Reindeer Spinner Tags HERE and the Sheep Spinner Tags HERE. This year's spinner tags feature the darling Simon Says Stamp Feline Like Christmas Stamp Set and the Lawn Fawn Magic Iris Snow Globe Add On Dies to make spinner tags. Because these are a bit more labor intensive, I only created 3 tags. You could easily make more by cutting out a few of the extra steps as I mention in the video above. Let's get started!
