Santa's Helpers 3D Gift Tags (Simon Says Stamp December 2021 Card Kit)

Hello friends! It's the 14th which means the newest Simon Says Stamp Card Kit, Santa's Helpers, is now available! Today I'm sharing five 3D gift tags created with the Craft Consortium Made By Elves 3D Decoupage sheets included in the kit! (I LOVE these so much!)

The rounded squares from the Craft Consortium Made By Elves 3D Decoupage included in the December Kit were flipped over and greetings from the Simon Says Stamp Joy For You Stamp Set were stamped on the back of each "tag" with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks in Bubblegum, Pucker, Seafoam, and Surf.

The Craft Consortium Made By Elves 3D Decoupage pieces were assembled to each square as shown in the video. Each layer was adhered with foam adhesive squares for absolutely arling dimensional scene tags! My favorite foam adhesive squares are the Scrapbook Adhesive Foam Adhesive Squares.

Hole reinforcers were die cut from the black cardstock included in the kit using a die from the Hero Arts Nesting Tags. The reinforcers were adhered to the top of each tag and holes were punched with THIS tool.

Each tag was finished with Glossy Accents, glitter, twine, and/or Nuvo Crystal Drops!

Framed Up Cozy Wishes Card (Simon Says Stamp)

The images from the Cozy Wishes Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and colored in with the following Copic Markers:

Blue birdhouse: B95, B97, B99, E40, E43, E44, E47, BG90, BG93, BG96, W6, W8, R46, R59
Lantern: BV31, BV34, BV25, B95, B97, B99, E40, E43, E44, E47, BG90, BG93, BG96, W8, YR30, TR31, YR23, YR27, BG70, BG72
Star birdhouse: BG70, BG72, BG75, W6, W8, E40, E43, E44, E47
Bird: R24, R46, R59, YR30, YR31

A Scandi Christmas Patterned Paper from the kit was trimmed to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". The Simon Says Stamp Silver Mirror Cardstock from the kit was die cut with the Simon Says Stamp Laurel Leaves Background Die and adhered over the patterned paper.

The stamped and colored Cozy Wishes Stamp Set images were die cut with the Simon Says Stamp Cozy Wishes Dies and adhered to the background as shown.

The Simon Says Stamp Thanks Sentiment Strips were foiled with Glass Slipper DecoFoil, trimmed into strips, and adhered to the background with foam adhesive as shown.

The card was finished with a scattering of stars and hearts embellishments. Glossy Accents was applied to the "glass" of the lantern to finish the card.

Adding Detail to Stenciling with Markers (Simon Says Stamp November 2021 Card Kit)

The Simon Says Stamp Berries and Leaves Stencil was stenciled on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel of smooth white cardstock with Distress Oxide Ink in Peeled Paint, Rustic Wilderness, and Festive Berries.

Detail was added to the leaves with G24, G28, YG95, and YG97.

Images from the Simon Says Stamp Cozy Wishes Stamp Set were stamped with Jet Black Ink and colored in with the following Copic Markers:

Bluebird and scarf: BG70, BG72, BG75, R24, R46, YR04, YR07
Brown bird: YR04, YR07, E40, E43, E44, E47
Red Bird and hat: YR04, YR07, R24, R46, R59
Mailbox and letters: R24, R46, R59, E55, E57, C4, C6, C8, G24, G28
Leaves: G24, G28, YG95, YG97

Extra images from the stamp set were fussy cut and adhered to the design as shown.

Another sentiment from the set was stamped on Lawn Fawn Chili Pepper Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder before being die cut with a Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Labels Die. The strip was adhered with foam adhesive as shown.

The berries in the stenciled design were finished with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ruby Slippers. The card was finished with gold stars and vanilla sugar snowflakes.

For the slimline card a piece of watercolor cardstock was trimmed to 3 1/2" x 8 1/2" and sprayed the panel with Empty Tomb Distress Mica Stain and Crooked Broomstick Distress Mica Stain. A Distress Sprayer was used to help move the inks around and the background was fully dried.

The new Simon Says Stamp Mummy Wrap Stencil (included in the kit) was placed over the background and Grave Texture Paste (included in the kit) was applied with a palette knife. I love the funky, imperfect look for this mummy wrapped background!

The Simon Says Stamp Little Boo Die (included in the kit) was die cut from Cream Off Cardstock and black cardstock (both included in the kit) and adhered to the background with foam adhesive. Shading was added to the ghost with Copic Markers in E40, E43 and Colorless Blender.

Greetings were die cut from black cardstock and cream cardstock (both included in the kit) and Hero Arts Gold Glitter Cardstock using the Simon Says Stamp Halloween Die and Simon Says Stamp Happy Die.

A greeting from the Simon Says Stamp Boo Day Stamp Set (included in the kit) was stamped on black cardstock (included in the kit) with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with Cream Embossing Powder. The sentiment was die cut with a Sentiment Labels Die and adhered with foam adhesive.

Stickers (included in the kit) were adhered to the background to finish the scene as shown.

Images from the Simon Says Stamp Big Day Stamp/Die Set were stamped on Neenah smooth cardstock with black ink and colored with the following Copic Markers:

Thank You Sunshine Flowers Card (Simon Says Stamp)

Images from the Simon Says Stamp Sunshine Flowers Stamp Set were stamped and masked on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Bristol Smooth Cardstock front with LF Jellyfish Ink. The images were masked with SSS Masking Paper.

A Simon Says Stamp On The Ground Stamp was stamped along the bottom of the panel with LF Jellyfish Ink.

The images were colored with the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers:

Sunflower: Mustard, Pale Yellow, Deep Brown, Brown, Light Brown

Red Flower: Carmine, Light Carmine

Orange Flower: Orange, Pale Orange

Yellow Flower: Bright Yellow, Yellow

Pink Flowers: Peach Pink, Sugared Almond Pink

Jar: Cobalt Blue, Light Blue, Blue, Bright Yellow, Yellow, Pale Yellow

Ribbon: Carmine, Light Carmine

Greenery: Deep Green, Pale Green, Turquoise Green, Green Shadow, Mid Green, Olive Green

Counter: Gray Brown, Platinum Brown, Gray Tint, Blender

The Lawn Fawn Brick Stencil was used to add a tile backsplash behind the flowers using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in Gray Tint and a Blender.

The label greeting from the stamp set was stamped to the right of the image with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Another greeting was stamped on the label with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. A heart accent was added below the label images to finish the design.

Birthday Sunflowers (Simon Says Stamp September 2021 Card Kit)

The Simon Says Stamp Sunflower Garden 6x8 Stamp Set was stamped on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Bristol Smooth Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with SSS Cream Embossing Powder.

The image was colored with the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush pen:

Sunflowers: Mustard, Pale Yellow, Deep Brown, Brown

Stems/Leaves: Mid Green, Olive Green

Other Leaves: Deep Green, Pale Green

Background: Blue Gray

The background was splattered with White Gouache and allowed to dry.

Tim Holtz Idea-ology Rose Design Tape strips were adhered to smooth white cardstock and the SSS Happy Birthday die was die cut from the panel. The greeting was die cut twice more and the greetings were adhered one on top of another for dimension.

A phrase from the Simon Says Stamp Sunflower Garden 6x8 Stamp Set was stamped on SSS Green Leaf Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The greeting was die cut with a SSS Sentiment Labels Die.

A vellum circle was die cut with a SSS Circle Thin Frames die. The die cut greeting and stamped and embossed greeting were adhered to the vellum as shown. A thin frame was die cut from smooth white cardstock and adhered around the vellum. The excess was trimmed away with scissors.

The card was finished with a scattering of Liquid Pearls in Rose Gold.

Toadally Unfroggetable Shaker Cards (Simon Says Stamp August 2021 Card Kit)

For the front panel of the card, the Hero Arts Mushroom Forest Fancy Die was die cut from a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel of smooth white cardstock (included in the kit). The frame was colored with the following Copic Markers:

Browns: E53, E55, E57
Greens: YG21, YG17
Reds: R24, R46, R39

A piece of acetate (included in the kit) was trimmed and adhered behind the frame. Greetings from the Simon Says Stamp Toadally Unfrogettable 6" x 8" Stamp Set was stamped on the acetate with StazOn Cotton White Ink.

A frog, crown, and bow tie from the Simon Says Stamp Toadally Unfrogettable 6" x 8" Stamp Set was stamped on smooth white cardstock (included in the kit) with Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink and colored in with the following Copic Markers:

Crown: YR31, YR23
Frog: G20, G21, G24, G28
Bow Tie: R24, R46, R39

The frog was adhered into the scene in the front of the shaker window as shown. Google Eyes (included in the kit) were added to the frog for a fun touch! The frame was backed with thin foam adhesive strips (included in the kit), forming a frame and filled with Trinity Stamps From Embellishments (included in kit). A Photoplay Custom 6x6 patterned paper (included in the kit) was trimmed down to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and adhered to the frame for a patterned background to the shaker!

For the front panel of the card, the Hero Arts Through The Woods Window was die cut from a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel of smooth white cardstock (included in the kit). The frame was colored with the following Copic Markers:

Greens: YG21, YG17

A frog and lily pad from the Simon Says Stamp Toadally Unfrogettable 6" x 8" Stamp Set was stamped on smooth white cardstock (included in the kit) with Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink and colored in with the following Copic Markers:

Lily Pad: YG17, YG21
Frog: G20, G21, G24, G28
Ladybug: R24, R46, R39, W5, W7, R20

Additional images from the stamp set were stamped around the frame and colored in with Copic Markers.

Tri-Fold One Layer Unfrogettable Card (Simon Says Stamp August 2021 Card Kit)

Happy Wednesday! It's been a minute since I've done a one layer tri-fold scene card and when I saw the brand new darling Toadally Unfrogettable Stamp Set and Build A Frog Pond Stencil included in the August Kit I knew I wanted to create this fun one layer design! This card does take a bit of masking prep work and quite a bit of coloring but the end result is so worth it!

Bristol Smooth Cardstock was trimmed to 12" x 5 1/2". The card base was scored at 4" and 8".

Images from the Simon Says Stamp Toadally Unfrogettable 6" x 8" Stamp Set were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Lawn Fawn Jellyfish No Line Coloring Ink and masked with SSS Masking Paper. Hint I used the Memory MISTI (12" size to stamp the 12" long panel! It worked like a charm for this oversized card base!

The water for the scene was stenciled with the Simon Says Stamp Build A Frog Pond 4" x 9" Stencil using Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink. The clouds were stenciled with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. The lily pads were stenciled with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink.

The masks were removed and the images colored in with the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers:

Frogs: Mid Green, Olive Green, Pale Yellow
Ladybugs: Carmine Red, Light Carmine, Gray, Gray Tint
Butterflies: Gray, Gray Tint, Bright Yellow, Yellow, Peach Pink, Sugared Almond Pink
Dragonfly: Blue, English Lavender, Gray, Gray Tint
Flies: Gray, Gray Tint, English Lavender
Cattails: Deep Green, Light Green, Mid Brown, Beige
Leaf: Light Green, Yellow Green
Lily Pad: Green, Yellow Green, Purple, Sugared Almond Pink

Black fine tip pens were used to add detail to the frogs.

Greetings from the Simon Says Stamp Toadally Unfrogettable 6" x 8" Stamp Set were stamped on the card with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink.

Little Trails from the Bee Happy Stamp Set were stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink to the card as shown. Extra waves from the stamp set were stamped with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink along the bottom edge of the card to finish the design.

SIMPLE STRIPES GARDEN GREETINGS CARDS (Simon Says Stamp)

Hello friends! Today I'm sharing this trio of simple stripes cards featuring new Lawn Fawn Dies paired with components from the Simon Says Stamp July 2021 Card Kit, Garden Greetings. The Simple Stripes dies are amazing for creating perfectly striped backgrounds quickly and easily! Florals from the Garden Greetings Stamp Set were stamped on the backgrounds with embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing ink before adding ink to each stripe for embossed resist. The Pinkfresh Studio Mini Puffy Alpha Stickers are the perfect size for sentiments on cards!

Each stripe was inked with a Hero Arts Reactive Ink color: Taffy, Fruit Punch, Creamsicle, Lemon Drop, Key Lime Fizz, Pool Party, and Splash for embossed resist.

The Pinkfresh Studio Mini Puffy Alpha Stickers were placed on the panel for the sentiment. Another sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Garden Greetings Stamp Set was stamped on Smoke Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The phrase was die cut with a Sentiment Labels strip and adhered to the design with foam adhesive.

The card was finished with gems and a heart accent.

The Lawn Fawn Landscape Simple Stripes was die cut from smooth white cardstock and stamped with floral images from the Simon Says Stamp Garden Greetings Stamp Set. Each stripe was inked with a Hero Arts Reactive Ink color: Key Lime Fizz, Green Apple, Pool Party, Splash, and Blue Hawaii for embossed resist.

The Pinkfresh Studio Mini Puffy Alpha Stickers were placed on the panel for the sentiment.

The card was finished with gems and a heart accent.
