Watch the creation of this Easter tunnel card from start to finish below or click HERE to watch in HD:
A tunnel card was created from the Sea Glass Cardstock in the kit. Adorable images from the Eggstra Sweet Easter Stamp Set were used for the front and inside of the card. Doodlebug Jellies were used as additional embellishment.
For the tunnel card, the 8 1/2" x 11" piece of Sea Glass Cardstock was trimmed in half, leaving 2 - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" pieces.
One of the panel was scored in half and then 1/2" was trimmed off one side of the card base.
The other panel was scored at 1/2", 4 1/4", and 4 3/4".
An additional piece of Sea Glass Cardstock from my stash was trimmed a scant 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (slightly smaller to fit within the score lines of the other panel). The panel was scored 1/4" from each long edge.
A piece of smooth white cardsotck was stamped with a bunny and bird image from the Eggstra Sweet Easter Stamp Set using Intense Black Ink. The image and background were colored in with Copic Markers.
The stamped and colored panel was secured to the back of the tunnel card interactive base.
The scant 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece was adhered to the panel scored three times.
The tunnel pieces were adhered to the card base and then the rest of the tunnel was secured. *Please be sure to see the video tutorial above for step-by-step instructions on assembly.
Additional images from the Eggstra Sweet Easter Stamp Set were stamped, colored, and fussy cut. The images were secured to the tunnel inside the card as shown. Glossy Accents were added to the eggs and then set aside to dry.
For the front of the card, another Eggstra Sweet Easter image was stamped on smooth white cardstock and colored in with Copic Markers.
A sentiment was stamped in black ink above the image.
The rest of the greeting was stamped on the Green Apple Cardstock with clear embossing ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder, and trimmed into a thin strip before being adhered to the card.
Doodlebug Jellies from the kit were added to the front and inside of the card to complete the design.
