Happy Saturday, friends! Yesterday I went Live over on YouTube where I shared a couple of circle shaped floral wreath cards featuring the brand new Mama Elephant Cosmos Wreath Stamp Set and the previously released Circle Combo Creative Cuts Dies. I stamped and embossed the images with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The images were colored with embossed resist with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks and the incredible Waffle Flower Shading Brushes in Size 0 and/or Size 1.

Currently I am doing a Friday morning Lives at 9 am CT. Replays will be on my YouTube Channel.
I have a few requests to edit the Lives. Currently I am not going to edit them. This is for a couple of reasons:
1) Lives are new to me and we are going to stick with this format for a bit. I personally love Lives. I haven't watched an edited Live so I reserve the right to reconsider in the future if I think it's something I can fit in my schedule.
2) I don't want to spend the precious hours I have for creating new content, editing a Live. I will be bringing the exact same amount of traditional content and videos to my channel. Lives/replays are in addition to that content.
If you want to join us for some real-time crafty fun each week I would love to "see" you there. Please make sure to SUBSCRIBE to my YouTube Channel and click the notification bell so that YouTube alerts you when I'm going live. I am trying to reach 100,000 subscribers so if you haven't subscribed yet I would SO appreciate it! I am grateful for my community on all the platforms!
Thanks to everyone who joined me today! I had a blast visiting with everyone. ❤️

The Mama Elephant Slim Comic Strip Creative Cuts Dies was die cut from smooth white cardstock. Each "section" was stamped with the waves from the Mama Elephant Summer Splash Stamp/Die Set using clear embossing ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder. A greeting from the set was stamped in one of the sections with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Water from a Distress Sprayer was splattered over the panels for a bit of distressing. Once dry, the frame and panel were adhered to a 3 1/2" x 8 1/2" white slimline card base. The Mama Elephant Slim Comic Strip Creative Cuts Dies frame was die cut three more times and adhered one on top of another for a dimensional frame.
The images were die cut with the coordinating dies and adhered to the mini sections as shown.
The card was finished with a scattering of stars and hearts.

The brand new Simon Says Stamp Make Merry Release is so incredible! You may be thinking, "girl, where's the holiday cards? It's called, Make Merry." Yes, the release is jam-packed with holiday but there are also some incredible brand new fall-themed products that I couldn't resist! (I will be sharing all the holiday things, soon!) Be sure to check out my video from yesterday HERE featuring the brand new Deco Hat Gnome, Mushroom House, Good Cheer Stamps and Dies, and All Snowflakes Background.

All three cards feature a crackle background. I stamped the Reverse Crackle Background on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel of smooth white cardstock with either Simon Says Stamp Fossil or Khaki Ink. I purposely picked a nice, light ink that would showcase the beauty of the fall leaves I'll be inking with Distress Oxide Inks.
STENCILING OVER A CRACKLE BACKGROUND WITH DISTRESS OXIDES
The fifth stencil was placed over the image and a thin layer of Gina K Glitz Glitter Gel in White was spread over the design for a shimmery, glittery effect!
The card was finished with a Trinity Stamps Coffee Bean heat accent and a scattering of gold Nuvo Crystal Drops.
This is the first of two blog hops. Be sure to check Simon Says Stamp Saturday the 10th for more inspiration!

I'm a huge fan of creating multiple cards at once, especially when I've got the stamps set up in my MISTI. The 6"x8" Snowflake Cascade Stamp Set is just one of those sets that is perfect with this technique!
The snowflake bracket image was stamped on one half of the cardstock background, the paper was flipped and the image was stamped again using clear embossing ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
Each panel was adhered to a white top fold card base.
Envelope flaps were stamped and embossed to match the card.

Smooth white cardstock was adhered to Fun Foam with Stick It Adhesive. The adhesive was also placed on the back of the Fun Foam. The Big Thanks Die was die cut from the dimensional sandwich and inked with Aged Mahogany and Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide Inks. The greeting was adhered to the "shadow" die cut from smooth white cardstock and adhered to the center of the design as shown.
The MFT Stamps Ghoulish Greetings Background was stamped on a 4" x 5 1/4" panel of smooth white cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Crackling Campfire and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks were applied over the inked area, blended, and the excess ink buffed away from the embossed areas. A Distress Sprayer was used to add oxidation to the and Gansai Tambi Starry Colors gold watercolor was splattered over the background for additional distressing.
A clear embossing ink pad was swiped on a scrap of smooth white cardstock and the Crackling Campfire Embossing Glaze was applied to the ink twice and heat set. The Boo! sentiment was die cut from the glazed cardstock and adhered to the top of two more die cut greetings for a bit of dimension. The greeting was adhered to the panel as shown. A Sentiment Strips Halloween greeting was trimmed into a thin strip and adhered with foam adhesive.
The Friendly Ghosts Die was die cut multiple times from smooth white cardstock. Circles were die cut from Black Licorice Cardstock and adhered behind the faces. The ghosts were adhered around the perimeter of the card with foam adhesive as shown. Any excess was trimmed away with scissors. I kept some of the tails and adhered them in open areas with liquid adhesive.
To easily trim the background so the design is centered I used a Basic Rectangles Die.
A Hexagon Greetings image was stamped on smooth white cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The greeting was inked with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink for embossed resist and adhered to the background with foam adhesive.

Happy Friday! Earlier this month when I was sharing some cards featuring the Simon Says Stamp Let's Connect Release products I asked what you wanted to see used from the release and the overwhelming winner was the Crackle Background (and Reverse Crackle Background) so today I'm sharing my take on ink smooshing over a stamped and embossed crackle background and y'all.... it might just be my favorite way to use this background. Seriously. The results are so, so good! In addition to the ink smooshing I used the Summer Roses Gina K Exclusive for Simon Says Stamp. Let's get started!

THE BACKGROUND
The Crackle Background was stamped on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel of Bristol Smooth Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Speckled Egg, Antique Linen, and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Inks were pressed into a glass mat work surface, spritzed with only 1 - 2 times with water and picked up with leftover stamp packaging before being "smooshed" into the background.I love how this gives a more organic, imperfect look than ink blending. The embossed areas resist the ink making this the perfect crackle background! What colors would you use? The possibilities are endless and I can't wait to try this with all my favorite Distress Ink color combos!
When the background is dry, I die cut it with an A2 Thin Frames Die and discarded the thin frame. I also die cut the thin frame from Polished Gold Mirror Cardstock. The outer frame, gold thin frame, and center panel were then adhered to a white top fold card base.

Happy Friday friends and welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Hey Bestie & Love You More Release Day 1 Blog Hop! Today I have a card showcase featuring lots of stamps and dies from both the Hey Bestie and Love You More Releases to share with you! SO many great products that make the most incredible cards! We are going to create three entirely different backgrounds and then add cute critter embellishments and sentiments from the Lifting Hearts Stamp Set or Pawsome Love Stamp Set to finish each design. Let's get started!

With so many great new background stamps and the incredible new Thanks On A Line Dies I decided to concentrate on building the backgrounds first and then adding cute critters next! The result is three entirely different cards all featuring cute critters!
Images from the Pawsome Love Stamp Set were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with no line coloring ink and colored in with the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers:
Light Pink Heart: Sugared Almond Pink, Blender
Red Heart: Red
Light Red Heart: Light Carmine
Cat: Beige, Medium Beige, Pale Pink, Red, Light Carmine
The images were die cut with the Pawsome Love Stamp Set and adhered to the design as shown.
The next card background was created by stamping the Heart To Heart Background on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder. The hearts were watercolored with the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush pen:
Light Pink Hearts: Sugared Almond Pink
Red: Red, Light Carmine
Mint: Turquoise Green, Green Shadow
Dark Pink: Pink, Light Pink or Peach Pink, Sugared Almond Pink
Once the background was completely dry, a Simon Says Stamp A2 Thin Frame Die was used to die cut a rectangle frame from the background. I die cut the frame from smooth white cardstock as well and then created an inlay background on a white top fold card base. This is my favorite way to add instant interest and framing to a background!
An image from the Pawsome Love Stamp Set was stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with no line coloring ink and colored in with the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers:
Red Heart: Red
Cat: Beige, Medium Beige, Pale Pink, Red, Light Carmine
The image was die cut with the Pawsome Love Stamp Set and adhered to the design with foam adhesive.
For the scene card, I first stamped the Heart Garland Background on smooth white cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I applied Pinkfresh Studio Mint ink over the embossed background with a blending brush. Excess ink was removed from the embossed areas with a dry rag.
Next, I stamped the You Are Background over the stamped, embossed, and inked background with Pinkfresh Studio Mint ink for a subtle text pattern. Excess ink was again removed from the embossed areas with a dry rag.
Images from the Lifting Hearts Stamp Set were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with no line coloring ink and colored in with the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers:
Bunny with balloons: Platinum Brown, Gray Tint, Pale Pink, Blender, Peach Pink, Sugared Almond Pink, Red, Light Carmine, Turquoise Green, Green Shadow
Mice with balloon and present: Platinum Brown, Gray Tint, Pale Pink, Blender, Peach Pink, Sugared Almond Pink, Turquoise Green, Green Shadow
Light pink balloon and heart: Sugared Almond Pink, Blender
Red balloon and heart: Red, Light Carmine
Dark pink balloon: Peach Pink, Sugared Almond Pink

Hello friends! I am always needing birthday cards for guys. This quick and easy design works for men or women, boys or girls, however I concentrated on using blues and greens and sentiments for this masculine birthday card.
For the background, images from the Birthday Sweets Stamp Set were stamped on a smooth white cardstock 4" x 5 1/4" panel using clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Hero Arts Reactive Ink in Blue Hawaii, Splash, Green Apple, and Key Lime Fizz were applied over the embossed imaged with ink blending tools. The excess ink was wiped off the embossed areas with a dry paper towel.
Some of the ink was "lifted" from the stars using a water brush pen. Hero Arts Crystal Lacquer was then applied to the stars and allowed to dry.
Smooth white cardstock was applied to Fun Foam with Stick It Adhesive and die cut with the Dude Die before being inked with Splash and Key Lime Fizz. The sentiment was adhered to the background and finished with a layer of Hero Arts Crystal Lacquer.
A sentiment from the Birthday Sweets Stamp Set was stamped on smooth white cardstock inked with Blue Hawaii Reactive Ink using clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The sentiment was die cut with the coordinating Birthday Sweets Dies and adhered under the "dude" sentiment with foam adhesive.
Another phrase was stamped on black cardstock with clear embossing ink using white embossing powder before being die cut with a Nested Banners Die. This sentiment was also adhered with foam adhesive.
